The micro king is little, but cozy. No real room to sit other than the bed. Fun if you’re ok w that. Lots of restaurants and fun shops in area. Close to Peabody Essex. Parking ain’t expensive and is pretty close to hitel

The room smelled of smoke and must. The restaurant/bar is above rooms on the third floor. From 10:15 to 10:45 at night the ceiling literally shook from what sounded like furniture being moved in the restaurant. At 3am drunk people were yelling in the hallway outside our room. The bathroom door is on a slider that did not function making it impossible to get privacy in the toilet. Finally the bathroom did not have a garbage can. We felt badly overcharged.

This is right in the heart of Salem which is amazing. The front desk staff were absolutely fabulous. Zackary, Allie, Maddie and Zay. They are very welcoming, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Zack went out of his way to show us some areas of interest as this was my first visit to Salem. The room was very clean modern. I had a room with a king size bed which was very comfortable.

Absolutely love this hotel and this will be my first choice when I return to Salem next time! The staff was AMAZING! So sweet, helpful and just lovely. Love the texting service - so attentive and easy! Loved my room and the location of the hotel was PERFECTION! Only 2 wishes for next time - PLEASE get ice makers and PLEASE upgrade the TV options for Youtube, Netflix, etc. But that's it. otherwise, a perfect stay!!!!!

24 hours in Salem

We had a great stay in Salem at the Hotel Salem! While the rooftop restaurant was cool, the food was just okay. I would have eaten somewhere else and just gone there for drinks. There were no other food options while the restaurant was closed, specifically coffee in the morning. I like when there is lobby coffee or a maker in the room for my first cup while getting ready. There is no shortage of great cafes nearby though and the hotel is centrally located to everything! The bed was really comfortable and the room felt very spacious with the high ceilings. I wish the restaurant in the lobby was open during the week, but like I said, lots of options close by. I would recommend this hotel!

Great location

Great location. The hotel is a little worse for wear. Needs fresh paint. The wall covering outside the elevators on floor 2 was all ripped and scratched. No coffee pots in the room, but staff was nice enough to bring me hot water for tea each day! The carpet was slightly tacky, which was unpleasant. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, which was very welcome.

Really charming hotel, lots of character. The walls are a paper thin and the hallway is heard inside your room. The AC is blasting to a point where it’s uncomfortable. Will try to get the front desk to adjust it, there is no way that I can see that I could do it myself.
