The hotel is perfectly nice - room and bed comfortable. It is a bit tired and worn looking and maybe a refurb of the upstairs/bedrooms would be good. Carpets in corridors not great. A bit noisy from the road outside (I was in a room facing the road). Plus points are very nice little swimming pool - not too crowded. Staff all pleasant and friendly.

Good location

Our family room was a little dated but clean and tidy. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room especially during the recent hot weather but otherwise ok. Breakfast was self service which is fine however a fried egg would have been nice instead of scrambled each day. The pool area was very warm and again needs a bit of an update but on the whole our stay was satisfactory.

Perfect! Some people expect to much.

Lovely stay! Large family room. The children enjoyed the swimmimg pool and used it both days. Cheap 24 hour parking. Couldnt fault. Will return.

BASIC BASIC BASIC!!! AVOID! Stick to Premier Inn

Booked two rooms £168 a night, one room for two nights one room for 1 night so over £500 , Firstly Receptionist trying to tell me card had been declined online and I had to pay again! so had to prove that I had paid..not a good start! She also needs to smile a bit, as rude ..first impressions and all that! They also don’t tell you at time of booking that £10 a night for parking so we parked on the road but a bit worried for our car as there was evidence of two car windows smashed! The room was like staff accommodation from the 80’s absolute disgrace, there’s obviously a problem with the roof as damp patches everywhere and trying to cover up rotten wood with bad filling. There must have been a tall person who put the mirror up in the bathroom as I could only see the top of my head in it, I am 5’3, paintwork very tired and need some bleach in that bath!! we only stayed one night, didn’t even check into the other room then booked into a Premier Inn in Cardiff, even had to get out of Bournemouth as the west cliff stressed me out.. this hotel could take some lessons from the premier inn!

We had a great stay, the staff were amazing, Josh on reception was the first staff member that we met. He could see I was struggling with my cases and came to my rescue. Both myself and my husband have mobility issues. Josh made such a great first impression, and from that moment we were not disappointed. The accessible room was fantastic, the breakfast was second to none. We will definitely be returning, we felt totally pampered.
