Grove Hotel

Lovely clean hotel, comfy beds, quiet at night. Room was hot but large fan provided. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and considerate. Allowed us to stay in the car park for a bit longer with no extra charge which saved us from having to move our car elsewhere. Many thanks. 😊

Loved that they had a 24 hour reception. Lift is extremely, fits max 2 people that is okay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms happened to be ready even though we were 2 hours early and it was no problem to check in. They also let us keep our luggage at reception on the day of checkout because our train wasn’t until the evening. The room was quiet and very spacious, they had a powerful standing fan which was needed in August. The only bummer was that the TV didn’t work, couldn’t connect to WiFi or something. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a lovely 2 night stay! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during check in and check out. Very convenient location and not a huge distance to the beach. Will definitely stay again if ever in Bournemouth.

Bed was very comfortable & room was clean. Needs some decoration & tv didn't worl properly. Cleaning staff were lovely. Can't comment on the food as never ate at the hotel. We was running late to leave, 10 mins, due to partner being unwell, staff banging on the door. Wouldn't stay again for that reason

Good value hotel in decent location.

A two day mid-week stay at the Grove, a quiet location 5-10 minute walk from Bournemouth Pier and the Gardens. A friendly welcome, on site parking (£10 per day) and a double room on the 2nd floor (lift available if needed). The room was good, a bit basic, but with a decent bed, TV, free Wifi and wardrobe. The bathroom was ok, the shower cubicle a bit small but perfectly functional. Breakfast was very good, cold buffet and then hot food either cooked to order or served on a buffet.

Lovely people, lovely location, very clean hotel and nice breakfast. Just lacking a few basic amenities that would have been handy. You could ask for hairdryer or anything you needed but not quite the same as having them on hand. Shower gel was out in the shower, but plenty over the bath shower. Having said that, it was great to have both in the bathroom. No shampoo or conditioner, I should have been prepared, (first time it hasn’t been in a room I have stayed in.) Plenty of tea/ coffee/ milk etc The room was very hot, but we were provided with two fans. There was a safe but it was already locked and we didn’t want to waste time sorting it, so took everything of value out. Lovely soft towels and comfortable beds. Would I return? Yes probably, but again I would be better prepared with toiletries etc. Overall a nice place.

Stayed in worse, but not many!

Hotel was ok at best. Our room was very hot (with no AC) and unfortunately we couldn't open our windows as the hotel backs onto a very busy road. Our room (24) had the smallest shower imaginable...it was very difficult to close the door once in. The double bed was very small. Staff were friendly and location good for walking into town.

We had a wonderful stay at The Grove Hotel. The location is excellent, with everything you need just a short walk away. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. A special thank you to Roberto, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help — service like that makes all the difference! I was also working during part of the trip and was pleasantly surprised to find several quiet, comfortable spots around the hotel that were perfect for getting work done. Highly recommend for both leisure and business stays — we’ll definitely be back!

Roberto - Manager was lovely and top lad

Proximity to the beach and cleanliness were the quality of the Hotel. Out of all, Roberto was kind, and he was attentive to the guest.
