Beach Getaway

This was an amazingly clean and lovely place to stay! The hot tub was clean and the activity room in the garage was super fun for entertainment. I would totally stay again!

Perfect house and amazing location!

Our group of nine had a wonderful stay at Windrush House. The house offered lots of space for our large group. The yard was incredible and the location was amazing - we walked to the beach, played basketball with the kids, enjoyed a quick drive to Edison for bread, sweet treats and pizza.

Perfect peaceful retreat!

We decided to take a mom-and-kids mini vacation and our stay on Samish Island was perfect. The rooms upstairs were surprisingly soundproof for the little ones to nap and go to bed early while the huge backyard and sport court were great for the older kids to get moving. We took a few lovely walks through the beautiful and quiet neighborhood to the public beach for some crab and rock hunting. House was cozy, clean and inviting.

Beautiful home

We loved the home. Had everything imagined from great view, big yard, proximity to ocean, hot tub, game room, 2 living and 2 dining spaces. The property manager is super responsive and prepared us in advance with all the necessary details and tips on local attractions. Our 1 year old loved running in the backyard too. Overall comfortable and nice stay. Definitely recommend

Great house & great times!

We had a wonderful time with friends & family. The yard & hot tub were well used. The kitchen was organized, spacious, and well stocked. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and biking to the beach. Jan was communicative and check out was a breeze! Lots of good spaces within the house for finding a quiet moment or for mixing with each other.

Beautiful property perfect for our family

The house and grounds are beautiful and immaculate, tastefully decorated with quality furniture and kitchen appliances and tools, huge rooms with ample room for dining on the east side in the morning and the veranda in the afternoon sun with a view of the sea. The island’s roads are quiet making it easy to ride bikes or walk. Local small towns offer shopping and eateries. Several parks within a half hour offer swimming beaches on quiet, relatively warm lakes ideal for swimming, floating, kayaking or paddle boarding.

Our adult kids who live across Canada and in the US joined us at Windrush house for our family Christmas. It was wonderful to have a lovely home that was large enough and in a beautiful area; well equipped house, hot tub, and great scenery and hiking

Comfortable spacious house on Samish Island

The house was as lovely as pictured, and there was plenty of room for our family of 12 to get together or have private space. I didn't anticipate the huge back yard with a great old oak tree for sitting in the shade or resting after playing on the basketball court! We made use of the hot tub and grill. The flower beds were in full bloom and gorgeous. The home, in the middle of an Island was private and quiet with little traffic, but with restaurants, beaches and park nearby. A great time and great place for our get together!

Beautiful house in a beautiful area

We loved our stay at this beautiful home, which has gorgeous flowers. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch. Both the front porch and patio were perfect for happy hour. The kitchen was well stocked. The dining room table could seat all 9 of us. Our grown children enjoyed the game room and the basketball court. We all enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We visited the nearby towns, hiked the beautiful trails and even went blueberry picking. The communication was fabulous with our host. We would definitely come back again.

Perfect property for our family

We can't say enough great things about the property. We had 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 2-10. The property is beautifully landscaped with a ton of gorgeous flowers. It is on a great street that we walked every day. Great views are everywhere. The basketball court was played on early in the morning and then until it was dark. The kids hung out in the game room and hot tub for a good portion of the time as well. The hosts were extremely gracious throughout our entire stay. From the moment we booked our stay, there were detailed instructions about the property sent to us and all that there is to do in the area and surrounding areas. They communicated to us throughout our entire stay. We accidentally left our rental car keys at the house and the owners went above and beyond getting them back to the rental car company for us. We highly recommend this property and hope to be back again in the future. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us!
