The reviews said the house was so well appointed that they had everything you could possibly need. We did not find that to be true. Bring your own coffee filters if you want coffee, extra rolls of toilet paper because only three were provided for five people for the week. Thereâs definitely a bunch of stuff in the kitchen but it looks like itâs just whatever has been left behind by previous guests. For example, if youâre looking to cook, there is no salt, but you can find gummy zinc vitamins in the cabinet. My best advice would be to come with absolutely everything you would need to live with for a week. Also, there is not one mention of the driveway in the listing. We rented a van for this trip and an SUV was necessary. The driveway is so rutted out that we almost couldnât make it in. We drug in several places, which was terrible because it was not our vehicle After staying for a week, we figured out a pathway to get in and out, but it was definitely a challenge. You should know that it is only air-conditioned downstairs with no window coverings and an open loft upstairs it was extremely hot if youâre not in the master. Between it being hot upstairs and the sun rising over the water directly into this cabin, sleep was a major challenge. There is no insulation between the upstairs and the downstairs so when the people upstairs start walking around, it sounds like they are falling through the floor. As everyone else mentions the place is beautiful but seems unfinished.
