I would give this a five star overall rating if the air conditioning worked in our condo. After our first two days (we stayed a total of five days/four nights), It never got below 77 degrees, and topped out at 81 degrees in our unit. We thought it was some sort of power saving mechanism that wouldn’t let the air below a certain temp, and we spent most of our time on the BEAUTIFUL beach. When the temp reached 80 degrees in the unit, I called the customer service number to report it. The guy was very nice and said “hopefully” someone would come fix it soon. Four hours later, someone showed up and fixed the issue, but the air conditioning stopped again within about an hour. I didn’t bother to call customer service back because we were leaving the next day, but my husband called to let them know so that they can hopefully get it fixed for the next guests. I wish I could say our vacation was perfect, but after a long day at the beach, coming home to an 80 degree condo was not fun. You do have to cross the street to get to the beach, but cars stopped for pedestrians for the most part. We rode the free bus several places but it was too hot to walk (mid-July), but there were several places within walking distance. The condo we stayed in (unit 170 of Gulfside) was very clean.
