The property is showing its lack of attention and caring for its upkeep. The staff are friendly but it’s not making up for the noticeable deterioration of the rooms. It also looks like permanent residents or extended stays are taking place.

Cute chalets!

Adorable roadside motel in Brandon. Rooms are individual mini chalets with porches. This motel could use an update, but the room was acceptably clean and the beds were comfortable. The best part was the cute chalets.

1st room was not cleaned. Black mold under kitchenette sink. Moved to 2nd room with stained carpet and foul odour. Cable t.v. was not working. I checked out after 2 nights and asked for a refund for the 3rd night. Agreed. I have not received a credit yet. The Little Chalet is under renovations to upgrade the conditions. Ask for a guarantee of a complete reno. renovated

Cute little cabins but wasn’t very clean , sheet and comforter was stained. Bathroom counters and specially floors were filthy and sink was plugged

I have decided to stay for a night with The Little Chalet Motel for their cute design and convenient location. However, I may have to suggest for a screen door to avoid small insects (flies, etc) coming inside from the outside as well as the stained sheets need to be changed when necessary. But overall, I have enjoyed my stay for convenience.

This property looked decent in the online pics, just a basic room. When I opened the door the stench of cigarettes and dirty feet hits you. The floor had black grease? Stains all over the already dirty carpet. I went to Walmart and purchased a pillow, 2 blankets and a candle. I did not want to sleep on the dirty flat pillows provided. This property needs a zero rating for cleanliness, front desk check in was friendly.

While the property appears to have been upgraded the unit we had needed new mattresses. We got 3 bath mats instead of 1 bath mat and 2 hand towels. There was no hair dryer in the room. Other than these few issues the property was very unique and convenient to get in and out of.

This is a unique property and the price was phenomenal. It’s an older property with surprising extras, my favourite being the soaker tub. I’ll definitely stay again when passing through Manitoba.

Needs an update

The room was clean and check in super easy. The room looks a little rough, which is not a big deal, but our blankets and sheets had cigarette burns. I could overlook all of this, but the biggest issue we had was the tap water smelled strongly of sulphur.

There was people next to us who were screaming the ENTIRE night!!!! The beds looked like they weren’t clean and it smelled heavily of chemicals.
