The house is fine but the sofas/ futons are not comfortable for sitting and visiting with others. The mattresses on all beds are all firm not comfortable for our group. If you plan to walk to the lake, it’s not happening. You can’t access the lake from this home. You will have to search for a place to access it. We won’t stay here again.

Beautiful property. Love the location as we have stayed in this area for many years. I will say make sure you being trash bags and paper towels as well as a sponge as it is not provided. The beds were not the most Commodore but everything else was great!

Family getaway

Great location, beautiful home. Super clean and well maintained! Seating in living space was not ideal. There was only a small couch in the living room and then a high top dining room table which wasn't ideal for the type of family we had there. So it made it awkward to gather in the main space and spend time time together. Downstairs there were two couches but it's not a place you would want to spend your evening or the majority of your time. Beds were really hard but really nice so almost like if they had a topper on then they would be perfect. But all three couples did complain of the bed. Other than the beds and the seating this place was super nice. They definitely need more seating upstairs.

Perfect for a family trip

This house was perfect for our family getaway. Very spacious with a beautiful scenic view. Very easy check-in process and Scott was quick with his reply’s. We did bring extra seating and a couple card tables. Would recommend to bring extra bath towels. The beds were comfortable but one of the pull out couches was very uncomfortable due to the dated mattress so we just used an air up mattress for one of the kids. We would definitely rent this house again or any other house Scott offers.

Adequate Home in Good Location

Our extended family stayed at the property over the 4th of July holiday. The home was on a quiet street and we had easy access to activities in the area. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. When we arrived there was lots of dust, and splatters on the wall - like food or drinks - and there weren't any cleaning supplies that we could find to wipe the counters/dust so we ended up purchasing some products and cleaning the counters and walls. When we pulled out the trundle bed in the downstairs bedroom for one of the kids to use the sheet was dirty; when we went to use the washer there was mold in the bottom from the front-load door being shut while still wet. The furniture was cheap, drawers would stick, and the futons weren't overly comfortable. The towels were small and non-absorbent. The living room area didn't allow for a lot of gathering room but the deck was nice and provided additional space. The home was adequate and we wouldn't be so critical about some things if the price we were charged wasn't what we consider more on the luxury price side. We were able to utilize the pool at the properties next door for a small fee, would be great if this VRBO worked with that management to include access as a part of the VRBO. Scott was great about responding to info and requests and I think the property has the potential to be a great VRBO but overall we were disappointed with the cleanliness and amenities, or lack thereof.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a great time staying at this home. The location was so close to silver dollar city which was super convenient. The house was spacious and clean and accommodated 4 adult couples and 2 young kids. It was also so close to the most delicious taco food truck called Mahi Mahi Tacos. We recommend this house!

Not Clean

House was not clean upon arrival. Was told cleaning crew forgot. There was food left in the fridge, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. One of the pull out beds didn’t have an actual bed on it, only springs.

Great house with lake access

Great house near the lake. It was great having 3 king beds and 4 bathrooms. Furniture was pretty uncomfortable. Beds really loudly creaky, cheap or old mattresses and the couches were so uncomfortable. Not really any comfy place to sit and watch tv, But we enjoyed sitting on the deck and walking down to the lake to swim.
