this property is run-down and lacking in hospitality. the room smelled so strongly of some type of fragrance that we almost left. We managed to get the window open and turned on the air conditioner to sleep.

Well, let’s just say it was a horrible experience. The lady at the front desk came up and accused us of smoking in our room when none of us even smoke?? That was after she was standing outside our door spying on us while our pregnant daughter was visiting.. the shower squeals at you every time you use it. And to top it off the guy that works at night stood outside or open window smoking cigarettes 50 feet from the smoking section. As a non-smoker that was very inconsiderate..

Not good

Check in was easy but the room we were given was very musty and a couch pillow was completely falling apart. They gave us a different room which was fine but also musty. The window didn’t fully close and we could clearly hear the conversation of people smoking pot in the outside smoking area. Toilet seat was cheap and flimsy. The free breakfast was OK though there was a hair under the sausage patties. For almost $200 a night, we expected better quality all around.

A little iffy but nice staff

Check in was easy and front desk staff nice. We had trouble with our TV so ended up switching rooms. The TV still didn’t work, the toilet was gross, there was 2 used bars of soap in the shower and something splattered on the TV. Breakfast was good with many choices.

Poor Brattleboro Vermont experience

We stayed for 5 nights and had our room sort of cleaned one time. Each day we had to ask for bath towels. We were told by one employee that for stays over 2 night the cleaning policy was once every two days. Today, the manager explained to us that requested cleanings needed to be made on line. We were never informed about this policy. On the positive side, the two staff members that prepared breakfast each morning were very hard working. A pretty poor experience for $900+.
