Great house - 2nd stay

We love the house and its location. This was our second stay. We found it to be a bit shop worn and in need of some maintenance such as loose faucets, an inoperable bathroom fan, some burned out light bulbs. Nothing major and, again, we love the house and hope we left it in as good of or better condition than when we arrived.

Summer in Breckenridge

The house is as posted. The check in process was seamless. The house is spacious, perfect for a large family group. It was also well stocked with starter items such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The kitchen also had coffee filters, coffee and spices to help get the day started. Besides the 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, there were several lounges / living rooms for people to spread out. The hot tub was a nice extra. The location is very close to town. I would subtract a star for communication due to having to call Vrbo twice to get a receipt for final payment.

Awesome April

Fantastic cabin extremely well located. Drop off the back of the cabin to ride down to Peak 9 and 10 Superchair's, or a short drive to the parking lot for the Breck Connect Gondola to Peaks 7 and 8.The free shuttle buses also maker it easy to get around with the closest shuttle stop literally outside the cabin.Our clan of eleven people ranged from 8 years old to 53, all of whom loved the cabin. Lot's of space to chill in groups or all together.

Family Ski Trip 2025

Great property. Very clean. Lots of space. Beautiful views. Quiet. Easy to find. My only complaint would be the proximity to shuttle buses to ski lifts. We saw shuttles but they either didn’t stop or it wasn’t well marked where to catch the shuttles

A true Colorado experience

A beautiful house perfectly situated to take advantage of everything we love about Colorado. We had our three adult children and their families, and everybody had plenty of room. The house is luxurious and well appointed. People had room to be together and also separate. The views of the 10 Mile Range and the Breckenridge ski area were fantastic. It was easy to get to town and to trailheads. The thing we were surprised at and loved the most was there’s a trailhead right next to the driveway. We used it a number of times for afternoon and evening walks in the woods. Whether we were on the trail or sitting on the deck or sitting in the living room, we were always surrounded by Colorado’s beautiful mountains. Great big kitchen and dining table meant for some great family time together.

A great place for a large family reunion

We stayed at this property in late August 2024. The house is warm and inviting, with a well-furnished kitchen, game room areas, and several nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The house and furnishings are a bit dated, but we didn't mind that at all. In addition, communications with the property management company were outstanding before, during and after our stay. We can highly recommend this property and Summit Mountain Rentals, the property manager. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property

There were 12 of us: 7 adults and 5 children. The bed configuration for the kids was great. There were 3 bunk beds in a large room. The rest of the group was 3 couples and a single. All those bedrooms had a bathroom with them. There was a lot of separation between the bedrooms which gave everyone privacy. There were hiking trails right outside the back of the property. It is not within walking distance to downtown but that was not a problem.

We had 12 adults and there was room for everyone! Enjoyed the downstairs living room with pool table and large tv to watch US Open. Also close enough to downtown, $20-25 Lyft to the nightlife. The views were amazing also! Would definitely come back and highly recommend this property for your next vacation!! We did run out of propane, but one text and a full and spare tank were dropped off within the hour!

Incredible family vacation spot!

Incredible location, amazing amenities. Our kids loved the sleds. We loved the ping pong tables, foosball table, and pool table. The place has sooo many levels and stairs which was a little scary for our infant but it all worked out. More than enough beds and rooms for all of us. Sledding right outside the back door was sooo fun and a trip highlight. Amazing response time from the management company anytime we had a question. We really hope this property stays on VRBO because we’re planning to make this an annual trip

We had 6 couples tackle this trip. This home was more than enough space and the location was great! The ski in was perfect for intermediate skiers (boarders not so much), but the silver shuttle was right across the street. It shuttles right at the Quicksilver chair. Great communication with the property managers.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Any issues (heat and refrigeration) we had, property management responded right away. We did have one bed that had some old food and crumbs in it but it was easily cleaned up. Some lights were burned out but we worked around it. Unforgettable experience and we do appreciate the opportunity to stay in the house❣️

Great Mountain house to unwind

Breck Stay

We had a great 3 day weekend at the property and couldn’t be happier with the location. We did have a few issues with internet/tv that the management company couldn’t solve for over the phone. Nothing got into our way of having a good time, however, we did have multiple people mention the house could use a deep cleanse. We had a few dead critters and webs welcome us upon our arrival.

House is beautiful and in really nice location. Ski out is very easy. Be careful of where you go when skiing in. Would not recommend taking the out of bounds trail to the house if you are on snow board. Skiing to the shuttle at bottom of peak 9 is very quick and easy.

Amazing weekend!

My husband and I booked Happy Trails Lodge with a group of friends for my 30th Birthday weekend! Can not say enough good things about the property! Everything you could ask for between the fire places, amazing rooms with a view and the hot tub. We were able to utilize the ski out amenities and the shuttle was so convenient to get to Beaver Run and Downtown. We also had a friendly fox visit us a few times! Truly amazing, we'll definitely be back! :)
