Stains on carpet, tile busted, dining chair falling apart and overall much more worn down than the pictures indicate. Thermostats worked well. Clean, but so old that some things were just gross. Location on the free ride bus route was good. No issues with check-in. âDeadboltâ listed under safety features, but there was no deadbolt on the door. Master bed squeaked and was smaller than queen size. I was embarrassed to have chosen this place, but it was last-minute.
Nothing to call home about, queen bed needs a new mattress as it sinks in the middle and is very hard but it had everything I needed and was clean and quiet. You have to go to the office in down town Breck to get a key and check in papers. The guy was very kind.
Location for free bus ride is great. The free bus is super close and takes you very close to ski lifts. You will save money by not having to pay for parking and deal with trying to find a place to park while skiing.
We had a great stay in Breck! It was perfect. It matched the photos, was clean and everything worked great for our ski trip. Right next to the free shuttle stop- quick to downtown and the slopes. Thanks!
This is a great little property for up to 4 people. The property is older but, in good shape. The price is perfect for what you and the check-in process is seamless. Definitely will come back
The property was quiet and clean. Needs some cosmetic repairs (bent storm door and towel bar, dishwasher lock latch, carpet stains...I was surprised there was no "check-in" list for us to note such things) but it was cozy and just what we needed for our hiking get away. Basic appliances and kitchenwares included. Close to the bus line back to the main street. We even saw a moose and her baby. Would stay again! Check-in and check-out was a BREEZE!
Great property - does exactly what is says on the label!
This is a comfortable and economic option for staying in Breck. I would certainly stay again and Mike, the property manager, is really helpful and makes checking in a breeze. It may be a fairly basic unit but itâs warm, comfortable and the free shuttle bust stops right outside. Highly recommend this place.
I consider myself to be a serial VRBOer. I (and my family and friends) have stayed at vrbo properties literally around the world. The baseline advantage is always that you get a kitchen, a living room and some of the comforts of a house/apt vs a hotel.
In that respect, this place still meets that criteria. There is a kitchen, there is a living room and even a working wood burning fireplace. Beyond that though, the unit is pretty run down and tired. Carpets are threadbare, couch looks like something that you find at a yard sale and the beds and bedding are all very old and beat up. The hot tub seems to have been removed from the property as well.
It suited me and 2 other guys ok and the location is pretty solid so don't write it off completely if you are looking for just a place to lay your head.
I think 3 stars is perfect for this place. It's not great but not horrible either.
