Great location for ski in/out - close to Snowflake lift. Very spacious with lots of room for family of 5. Everything was clean and was very cozy. Would definitely stay here again. It would be nice for two rooms to have king bed vs two rooms with two twin beds. Overall it was great!
enjoyed this day the house was up on a hill because it was ski and ski out and so for summer bikes it worked great because we ended up renting a bikes which werenât that much more expensive than regular bikes, but renting bike is fairly expensive in Breckenridge it was also a short hike up to a lovely pond where there was one really good fishing spot. The house was as described. It was large and good value for the listing price had trouble communicating with the property manager had to actually call him instead of them responding timely to any messages. This was Vicasa. Vacasa should send someone every six months just to check on light bulbs and smoke alarms.
Location was a true ski in/out, although skiing back can take some energy if the snow is slow. I gave 4 stars because the garage code didnât work and Vacasa said they would fix it the next day but they never came out. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and floor which was nice. The home is spacious, the hot tub clean and warm, plenty of kitchen supplies, good internet, heated floors in master bedroom were all nice. The rugs were quite old and torn up in places but the house was clean. I would stay here again.
The property was exactly as advertised and had PLENTY of space for our group of 5. The ski in ski out was super convenient (you can see the snowflake lift from the back window). Skiing back in is a slight traverse after turning off onto the snowflake run, but it really wasnât bad at all especially because you ski right into the back of the house. Would highly recommend for any ski trips, and would definitely stay again
We have stayed here before. Property is always clean and taken care of. But maybe in a few years, you might update furniture. Things get worn in time. But, weâve stayed at the one next-door and we enjoyed it. The house is always warm and the hot tub is always hot!
Great location to snowflake lift & downtown
Upstairs bdrm needs hot water faucet fixed - no hot water from one sink
More towels for hot tub
Could use nicer bedding, (sheets, etc)
Good location for ski in and ski out, regardless of snowflake run flat spots.
However, the carpet was old, coming up in parts, and dirty. The stove only had 2 burners that work and was unplugged when we showed up. The front burner knob seemed to be stuck on, but it didnt work. So,. I assume they were working on this and didn't dop a full repair. The dishwasher was disgusting...it was clogged in the bottom and I couldn't clean it out. It did not work very well and I consistently just cleaned dishes by hand after they went through the washer. The furniture is very very worn and old. While most of the common surfaces were clean from dust, anything that wasn't common had a thick layer on it.
This is privately owned, but managed by Vacasa. For the money, I would look at other places to rent even if they didn't have a hottub.
This was a nice ski in ski out condo right off of a green run at Breck. The location is great, and the townhouse is spacious. Overall, we had a nice stay, but communication was poor. On arrival, the oven/stove was not working. We called the management company who said they would send for a technician. Nobody showed up. The next day, we called again. We were told that they knew prior to our arrival that the oven/range didn't work, and one was on order. They elected not to tell us in advance--which was a bummer since we had purchased groceries to cook on the way to town. Aside from this, the place was nice. Vacasa was frustrating to deal with.
Property was as described. It's a little dated but has everything you need. Didnt have to call property management for anything. Hot tub was unlocked when arrived and able to use that same night. Thank goodness cause I read previous reviews. There were 6 of us and plenty of room. We have a Honda pilot and that fit just fine in garage which is heated. It is a ski in ski with run that leads to Snowflake lift. As others have described it does have 2 flat areas or 3 if beginner.. Not a deal breaker , just bomb by C chair and you will get you most of the way there on a board but you will have to push through second area. Beginners would have to push through 3 sections. This rental will be a option if we stay again in Breck.
Excellent Home, BUT make sure Snowflake trail is open
This is an excellent home in a fabulous location. Only problem, when reserving I only considered ski resort being open when I looked for this ski-in-ski-out home. When I got there the resort was open, the snow flake lift was open, BUT the snowflake trail that enables this home to be ski-in-ski-out was closed. I did not read anywhere in the listing or during my reservation that stated âski-in-ski-out PENDING SNOWFLAKE TRAIL BEING OPENâ.
This property is located in one of the best areas of Breckenridge. Ski in, ski out with a short walk to town. Walk out the garage 10 yards, click/strap in, and ski/ride down to the lift. The return is a little challenging across some flat parts down Snowflake Lift run but well worth it.
The house itself was as promised. Clean town home with plenty of beds. The only issue I had was not getting the access information until 24 hours before arrival. It would have been nice to get it 72 hours beforehand as I was unaware when it was coming.
The place itself is very nice. Plenty of space, nice that we could have 2 vehicles. Its pretty close to all the shopping and restaurants too. We walked to quite a few places just for fun. The ski in part is a really long cat walk so that's hard for a lot of people to do because it's so flat. You end up walking most of it. There's a hot tub there too but we didn't use it. Check in was easy, everyone was very nice. We would stay again.
The condo was very nice and managed 6 adults on a guys trip very well. The only draw backs were the ski in is a bit of a pole in because of a couple of flat spots on the Snow Flake trail. Also, walking into to town is not a problem, but suggest using the bus back up the hill. Otherwise it was super easy access to the trail, lots of space in the condo and the hot tub was great after a day on the hill.
BEEARE!
We were only to be at this location for one night. Flying in from Michigan to Denver⊠straight to this property for a night of âprivate hot tub soaks in the fresh snowfallâ.
Lol
Not a chance!
I had read previous negative reviews about this particular rental leaving their âprivate hot tubâ locked during their guests stay. So, I took it upon myself to reach out ahead of time in emails and text messages to try to express the urgency of having it unlocked on our one night stay!!!! (We donât have the time for you to come out and âmaybeâ unlock it the second night-because we wonât be there!!!)
I was assured by all parties that one or the other had it taken care of. It seems to me that there are too many hands dipping out of one pot!!!! One person blamed the local managerâŠ
The other blamed the âhot tub companyââŠ
And I ran out of patience to listen to the other excuse! Beware.⊠It may advertise a private hot tub⊠You wonât get it!
What you get is a bunch of lame excuses with a $200 refund (which just covers the ridiculous cleaning fee you pay!).
Ps. Not to mention the fact they had a sign hung at the patio area saying it was freshly stained and we could not âstand on the deckââŠ
We found levitating to be quite the challenging task!
BEWARE!
We like the house. However, we were not told the hot tub is locked and have to ask for a key? Also we were unable to use the deck, it had just been stained. Overall a great place.
Great Place, Great Location, Make sure the hot tub is unlocked when you arrive.
We had a great stay in Breckenridge. This property is exactly as listed. It was very clean and comfortable, was perfect 10 min walk to Main street and was quiet and secluded on the ski mountain. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are below.
1. Hot tub was a padlocked closed and even though I called the management company and alerted them of this within 5 minutes of arriving at the property, it wasn't unlocked until the morning of our last day of a 2 night/3 day stay. this was a huge disappointment because I chose this property over others for this feature specifically.
2. When we arrived there also was a smoke detector chirping which I also had to call the management about. We ended up having to take it down so we could sleep and noticed other smoke detecting were missing, presumably for the same reason.
3. The master bedroom has a double/queen bed, which is a miss in my opinion. The room has plenty of space for a King bed and the addition of a king bed would greatly increase the comfort and appeal of the property.
4. Some of the crank windows don't close all the way. It was summer, so this wasn't a huge problem for us, but it was definitely chilly and would be big problem in the winter.
Other than that, we loved the property, enjoyed the deck and location, had a great stay and greatly appreciate being able to stay there.
Thank you!
Loved the property! All 6 of us traveling from Denver and Colorado Springs found the home cozy yet spacious with everything that we needed. We even saw two moose walk by us at night while in the hot tub. Great distance from town and lifts!
