Location was excellent, right off James Street, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, grocery stores nearby. Also close to the beach promenade and Palace Pier. The hotel is on the older side, but still very comfortable, good hot water, great mattress. Owner Claudia was always available to answer questions and gove recommendations. Thanks for helping me with my suitcase!

The room was clean, the staff were really helpful. Charlotte was super helpful and lovely. The single room felt homely. The bathroom was very clean. It was nice and quiet which was exactly what I needed. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The only thing I'd say is the mattress was very springy and dipped in the middle so I think a new mattress may be better. Apart from that it was lovely and I definitely would stay here again. Thank you so much

Yes shops, bars, restaurants nearby, the room clean with all the facilities you would require from iron & ironing board, plenty tea/coffee, water shower gel, shampoo. Also fast wifi i was in the small double which was so peaceful and hardly heard any noise from others at the property. Charlotte was lovely and wouldn't hesitate in booking here if im in the area again.

Honestly felt I might have been taking a bit of a risk booking a room at the price I paid for my stay as a woman travelling on her own but found the room to be peaceful and well kitted out and the staff really lovely and helpful. It was a lovely room, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the decor as well. The hotel was also very well located, being close to the town and within walking distance from the sea. We would like to have stayed longer.
