Lovely caraterful property. Situated in the center with all,one needs ,nearby. St Nicolas market just a minute away,to feast your taste buds and eyes. Comfortable bed and great bedlinen.

Weekend stop too noisy

Windows may have well not existed by the noise from the street.2 lights didn't work in the room, hand soap not refilled in the bathroom. Sofa bed looked 10 years old. AND this was a suite not a standard room.

Great location. That’s where it ends. Rooms are tired with cobwebs and stained carpets. Could feel every spring in a very old mattress, wee stain also on the mattress. Allocated one teabag each in a twin room. When we asked for more, we were given 2 and there was no sugar. Room was cold. Had the air con up to 28 and still cold. Thin pillows and thin duvet. For the price it cost to stay, you could get a room at a far better hotel.

Lovely hotel but we got no sleep due to the people next door partying until 5am. The walls were so thin it felt like they were in your room. Tried to complain but just had a brief apology but it was not sorted out

There corridors and hallways were littered with empty wine bottles, dirty glasses, dirty plates and takeaway cartons. I thought this was probably just the one floor so I moved to another floor and it was the same and there was a pile of soiled bedding left outside my room from 5pm to 9am the next day. The bathroom in both rooms was absolutely disgusting - the shower curtain was filthy. The toilet had the previous occupants poo left in the toilet. There was constant noise all night with people slamming doors and talking loudly in the corridors. The breakfast items and selection were okay however the cups and bowls were filthy and I ended up using a takeaway cup after trying 10+ mugs to find a clean one. The staff were polite and friendly during the minimal contact I had with them. Overall, the hotel is 2* at a push.
