the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom was a very good size, great for a weekend away. staff were incredibly friendly too. would have liked to have fresh towels everyday though. appreciated the free breakfast but felt it could have been extended to around 10/11am, would have liked more breakfast options too. however, was a great stay overall, good location too and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the city centre

Room cleanliness fine, bathroom sink almost didn't drain, drip after using shower, large bath towel but such a strong smell of vinegar I used a hand towel. Faulty air-conditioning unit made awful noise all night. I arrived late and assumed it was pipes (as I didn't turn the unit on) - so didn't rectify til the morning. Staff all lovely, exactly the location I needed and decent breakfast.

Pleasant room, clean, comfortable and functional. Tea making facilities, toiletries, but no fridge. Great location: close to Temple Meads station but walkable to city centre amenities. All rates include the breakfast hot and cold buffet.

I was in room 5 carpet and bathroom needs better cleaning room 107 next to mine must have been deaf as talking very loud and to top it off woken up at 5am with again talking loud and banging about then shower went on then at 6.25 banged the door and left couldn't go back to sleep and emergency light shining in the room not happy

Very disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Reported a dirty sink the first day and requested housekeeping services and they never turned up. I Ended up cleaning the bathroom myself. Dirty cloths were also left in the bedroom on day two. Reported this to front of house staff and was advised to send an email to the team which I did. I got a generic response back and the email was sign by [insert name here]. That’s how generic the response was’, they didn’t even have the respect to change the name at the bottom of the email. No really acknowledgement of my concerns and resolution of the issues flagged. I would advise to stay somewhere else. The only perk is the proximity to the train station. Have stayed here before this trip but don’t think I will return again.

I've stayed at the hotel before and pleased with everything so decided, as I was back for a family gettogether, to stay at the hotel again. Handy for train and airport bus. The room, both times, both times comfortable and clean. I would have liked to have had a safe in the room to store passport and other things. My son and his wife stayed at the hotel with me on our previous visit to Bristol and were very satisfied with everything.
