Beautiful home - we've stayed in a few of Beverley and Phil's accommodations before, and they have all been clean, perfectly located and ideal for a group of friends on a weekend away. Beverley and Phil have always been communicative, very helpful and extremely flexible, which really has made life so much easier.
We'll be back next year, for sure!
The location was ideal. The kids LOVED the arcades near by!! Having the cottage to return to, a short walk from viking bay, meant you didnt have to spend all day that the beach. Phil and Beverley were quick to answer any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely break.
A very lovely dog friendly cottage exactly as described close to all the beaches. Communicative helpful owners. Would very much recommend or stay again.
This is a beautiful old cottage and comes fully equipped with everything you need for a short break. Very clean and the bedding smelt lovely! Great location to explore Broadstairs and the surrounding area. Lovely pubs and restaurants near by. Would highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Barnaby's lodge. It had all the amenities we needed for a couple of nights stay. The location was superb as it was right in the heart of Broadstairs. Despite the central location we still found it to be quiet. The beds were also very comfortable!
We had a lovely weekend at this cottage. Itâs in a great central location and has everything you need. Communication was excellent with the owners. We would happily come again.
The owners were first class throughout. The cottage is charming and only a few yards from some great bars and restaurants and of course the wonderful beaches. The living areas and work surfaces were scrupulously clean.
Great location. Loved Broadstairs.
Stairs a bit steep, but it was fine.

posizione centrale
Historical digs, take a delightful step back in time.
Arrived at Barnaby Lodge cottage and it was 0 degrees on opening the door our thoughts were, "This is going to be cold and draughty". Nope, wrong, very toasty warm within minutes of arriving. This place was amazing. If clean is a priority , this property ticks the box, everything was immaculate. Heating facilities made it very cosy, with fully equipped kitchen and everything you need for a more than comfortable stay. The character of the place was enthralling, immersing you in the Seaside surroundings of Broadstairs. There is no parking on the property which I thought was going to be a problem but the walk to the car was approx 3 mins and most enjoyable as it was on the beach front with stunning views and crashing waves. (Park on Rectory Road and walk down the foot ramp). Two minute walk to the High Street, so no need to drive, everything is within walking distance. I will have no hesitation in returning next year. An extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. Well done Phil.
Barnabyâs Lodge is cozy and quaint. It has every thing you need. The linens and towels were gorgeous, the bed comfortable, the hot water and bath were lovely.
Perfect location for exploring Broadstairs with lovely restaurants and pubs on your doorstep.
Wonderful.
Very small, old property but just what we were looking for
The property was well described being small, and old. Quite drafty but the heating was good and it suited us very well for a short break. Lovely soft towels and clean
Barnaby Lodge is always clean, tidy and stocked with the right things. Our 5th visit now, it is like a second home. As soon as we walk in the door we become relaxed and stress free. The lack of immediate parking is not an issue as Easten Esplanade is just a lovely walk round the corner. Location is perfect. Cottage is compact, bedroom good size and bed very comfortable. Even sat out on the lovely enclosed courtyard. We will be back again next year.
a great location but a little on the small side.....
It's in a fantastic location - you are pretty much in the centre of town - immediate access to the promenade, the harbour and onto Stone Bay. It's just so very weeny - fine for a couple with two kids (even then a bunk or two singles would have been better). But for four adults?..... The kitchen is so tight for space - thankfully the weather was lovely so we could sit outside but if it had rained it would have been awful. The fridge is woefully inadequate - glad we didn't do our usual big shop for the week on the way into Broadstairs like we would usually do - just about enough space for a day's food. And there is no soundproofing (the doors and old timbers and don't fit tightly) so expect to hear bathroom and bedroom noises. And it's only a shower-head over the bath with no screen or curtain. It's an old lovely property and it is in a great position but we found those issues annoying. We paid exactly the same for a harbour-side four bedroom property with two bathrooms and a further loo (admittedly outside of school holidays) in Cornwall in May and that felt a bargain. This felt a bit over-priced as it's so bijou.
