Easy weekend stay with a family of 4 and two small dogs. Brought our own crate to keep the dogs in.Positives:Good water pressure, clean house, smelled like it was freshly done/painted/recently finished??? Great to have 2 kings if you wanted to have two couples with kids in the bunks. Pictures don't show it well, but the upstairs bunk room has 2 bunk beds/4 twins. Needs: we couldn't find the 4th horseshoe, I'm guessing some previous guests might've had a roller that went into the bushes and never retrieved it???
My husband and I took my daughter and family away during spring break. This property was absolutely perfect very clean just like it looked in the picture had every amenity that you can imagine. very welcoming from the jazz music playing when we walked in to the hot tub in the back it was perfect. We made sâmores in the fire pit. We sat out back and visited by the fireplace, it just felt like home. If we ever come back to the broken Bow area, we will certainly try to stay at this property.
We really enjoyed our stay at Plenty of Shade. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the large deck with sitting area and hot tub. Very nice and so relaxing after our kayaking trip and sightseeing.
We absolutely loved our stay. We loved the peaceful feeling and the views of the trees are a sight of beauty.
The porch is wonderful, that is definitely the place to have conversation and connect with your family. The cabin is gorgeous inside and out, you get lost in thought while relaxing in the huge tub! The shower is amazing, Just a thought about adding a built in bench in the showerâs.
The house was great. The only issues were the hot tub started smelling after the first day like there were no chemicals. There were a couple of things out of place from the cleaning crew. Again minor issues and we would rent here again for sure.
Such a relaxing stay close to everything we wanted to do easy check-in process. cabin was actually larger than expected. It is two bedrooms downstairs with king beds and full bathrooms for each. Upstairs bathroom with shower (no Tub) and two sets of bunk beds so it can sleep 4 kids upstairs. the only Improvement could be the living room Funiture inside could have been better quality I was afraid to let the kids lay or sit on the furniture because it was not the sturdiest, but we spent most of our time on the beautiful patio anyway. Great stay. reasonable price. Would return.
The home is modern and comfortable. I appreciated all the amenities provided - coffee, spices, dish and laundry soap, shower supplies etc..
We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub the most!
Thank you!
This place is true to the advertising. The architecture is beautiful. My favorite part was the backyard patio. My children & I enjoyed roasting smores, watching movies while relaxing in the hottub, or ejoyed playing games by the fire. This place has everything! Beds are comfy, the kitchen is fully equiped, and there are two soaking tubs. The house is very close to Hotchatown, and Bevers Bend park, and 20 miles from the lake & upper Mt. Fork River. The closest grocery store is Pruetts in Broken Bow, 15 min drive. The only thing I wish I had known before is that there is a gravel road to the house. This was not a problem. However, if someone has a low riding car, it will be a very bumpy ride. Otherwise, my family would love stay here again.
Absolutely beautiful property. House was perfect with 2 king suites. The only downside was proximity to neighbors. Loud music in the evenings made it difficult with an infant to sleep.
