Cabin was beautiful and very clean. Loved how the fireplaces were on timers and you did not have to mess with real wood. Kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfortable and our fur babies loved the deck. The bonus was only one exit to cover with a doggy gate so they were secure while we were enjoying sitting outside.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin and would absolutely book again. The location was perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet still convenient to everything we needed. The cabin itself was spotless when we arrived and clearly very well cared for.We really appreciated how dog-friendly the property was, which made traveling with our pup so much easier. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals comfortably, and the hot tub was clean and ready to enjoy—a perfect way to unwind.We also felt very secure during our stay, with a personal door code for entry and security bars on both sliding doors, which gave us extra peace of mind.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others. The hosts were great and very responsive with any questions.

For anyone similarly concerned, I can confidently say that the mattresses were fully covered in zipper enclosures and the box springs were covered as well ( I worry about these things ) Also ,The quality of the kitchen items was lovely and we had plenty of everything we could have needed. The baseboards were super clean , towels were bright white and hot tub spic and span with additional chemicals avail if needed . Some of us stress about these things away from home but I felt SO comfortable & confident about our choice ; which made the trip lovely .

Our family enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes for us to cook all of our meals. There were plenty of towels for each bathroom. Everything was clean and in good condition. The owner communicated with us ahead of time to let us know about the ice still on the road and property. I would definitely recommend staying in this cabin.

Everything about this cabin is above and beyond. From the layout to the furniture, to the beds and bedding, the Kitchen (with its excellent silverware, pots, pans, and spatulas, decks, hot tub, fireplaces - it's all so well thought out and lovingly provided. We are artists, and we so enjoyed the beautiful light streaming in through the upper windows, the outdoor seating, and the fireplace, which were so fun and cozy on some chilly nights. The hot tub is really great, and on full jet provides a great massage. The mattresses are first-rate, and the bedding is so snuggly. The huge kitchen island and the stove top are both so high quality. We really can't say enough about the whole experience. 5 stars ALL THE WAY!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is beautiful, the scenery was serene and lovely! It was just two of us and our dog but this cabin would have accommodated another couple or a large family very comfortably. This cabin was easy to find but also secluded and off the main road. Everything was well appointed, impeccably clean and amenities worked perfectly. We appreciated the smores kit, the extra blankets and other special touches. While we did not have to reach out to the owners much, they were very quick to respond. This was our fifth stay in Broken Bow and absolutely one of our favorite cabins!

Fabulous place! House is just as pictured and has everything you need. We loved the outdoor space, hanging by the fire, and for the rainy day we had, the house is cozy with a comfy couch, warm fire, fun retro arcade game, etc. Great floor plan with 2 large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms so we all had space to enjoy, and a 3rd 1/2 bath for guests in the bunk beds. Hosts were quick to respond, shared lots of resources, and made the process easy. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful property. The home is very welcoming and nicely furnished. Great quiet location. The back patio is outstanding. 2nd time we have stayed here. I would highly recommend it for a couple’s stay or 2 small families. The home’s decor is very welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked. Nice kitchen table. Cute wooden tools postioned at the kitchen counter area making for ample seating choices. For the kids there is a pac man game table which can make even older kids of all ages happy and entertained. The property also is stocked with various board games for old fashioned family fun. Each television is equipped with ample channel choices. The master bedroom has great direct access to the back patio which includes a beautiful outdoor fireplace accessorized with comfortable patio furniture, and a nice outdoor grill, dining table, and also an door television. A few steps down on the large back patio is a great hot tub. In front of the home ample comfortable seating is available and is ready to roast marshmallows on an open fire. The owners have also set up a fun small horse shoe station. The front of the home is also adorned with 2 cute swings and beautiful trees. We have seen deer frequent this property each time we have stayed here during the early morning hours and sometimes at dusk. The entrance to the property has a wrap around driveway. Making it easy to come and go. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property.

Very pleased with our experience at the “Not your Grandpas Cabin”. Everything from booking process, directions and welcome packet were very thorough and well received. Our family had the best time staying at this beautiful cabin over fall break! The location was peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous fall colors — the trees were absolutely stunning. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved sitting by the fire pit at night, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the crisp autumn air.It was also such a bonus that the cabin was dog-friendly — our pup had the time of his life exploring the trails and hanging out on the porch with us. There were plenty of nearby activities, great restaurants, and scenic spots to enjoy, but honestly, we could’ve been happy just staying in and relaxing all weekend.We can’t recommend this cabin enough for families (and pets!) looking for a peaceful, fun, and memory-filled getaway in Hochatown.
