Beautiful cabin located on a very quiet, gorgeous mountain top perch with incredible day and night time panoramic views. The cabin was thoughtfully appointed with easy access to everything we needed. A torrential rain on the metal roof one evening added to our magical time. Our initial trip up the dark mountain road late the first night added to the mystique of our experience. We all loved the visit and plan to return.
We came here to visit family and escape the heat and humidity in Central Florida and boy did we. The property looks like a tiny house, but suprisingly has three sleeping areas and a combination kitchen setting area all made of natural wood, looked like hewn knotty pine. Quality workmanship, we wouldn't be surprised if the house was built by the PA Dutch or Amish. The deck (see attached picture) was our favorite spot to lounge on in the evening, Saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and squirrels and even heard some coyotes in the distance late one evening. Occassionally because of the lay of the land and the wind direction you could hear trucks on I-80, but NOT to the point where it was distracting or annoying. The property lived up to it's billing and we would be willing to stay here in the future. Very relaxing and comfortable.
Clean, comfortable, amazing views and the amenities were very nice! Peter, the host, was quick at responding with any questions. Highly highly highly recommend.
