Little Rowans is a wonderful property, very clean and everything is a very high standard. The bed is definitely the best we have slept in when staying away from home. Property description doesn't do justice to the excellence of Little Rowans. A perfect stay for a couple. The property has five star accommodation, facilities, ambience and, of course, hosts. No detail was missed and location is perfect for a visit to this part of Cornwall.

Excellent accommodation

We stayed for 5 nights in May half term. The accommodation was very clean and exactly as advertised. There was a welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, scones, jam, clotted cream, cheese and biscuits.Communication was excellent - the owners live next door.The accommodation is in a village just outside of Bude which is walkable in 25 minutes or there is a bus. Friendly pub up the road which serves good food. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and there is a washing machine and iron if you need it.I would not hesitate staying here again.

Perfect stay

Little Rowans -Bude

Little Rowans is a gem of a property in a great location. Everything, equipment wise, was at hand. The garden sun-spot was an added bonus! The property is a stone's throw from the welcoming local pub and a short car ride from several great beaches. The hosts, Helen and Andy were equally fabulous! We had an amazing stay.!

An absolute gem

Myself and my partner stayed here for four nights and couldn't fault the property at all. Excellent location (5minute drive to main beaches and shops) and the furnishings we're all to a high standard. We ended up liking it so much we opted to stay in and cook most nights.

Fantastic stay at Little Rowans

We had a wonderful stay at Little Rowans and highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Bude. From the outset, the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and welcoming stay. Prior to our arrival, they sent us a comprehensive "touchstay guide" that included detailed information about the property and a variety of activities and sights to enjoy in Bude. This guide was incredibly useful and added a personal touch to our experience. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained. On arrival, we were delighted to find a complimentary hamper filled with delicious Cornish treats, which was a thoughtful and generous gesture. The house was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hosts provided essentials such as milk, tea, and coffee, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and the attention to detail and hospitality from the hosts made it even more special. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Peaceful and Relaxing Little Rowans

Little Rowans is a beautifully presented property in a most picturesque village within walking distance of Bude. The house is immaculate, well equipped and beautifully quiet. The furnishings are extremely tasteful and the garden is delightful. Helen could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

What a gem

Helen and Andy have thought of everything to make your stay at Little Rowan as relaxing as possible. They were fantastic hosts and very accommodating. I loved the garden and the views from the bedroom and downstairs.

Great stay, lovely property

The accomodation is excellent, spotlessly clean, really lovely. We had a nice hamper on arrival, the owner Helen met us when we got there and explained everything clearly. A short walk into Bude (20 mins) and a great location for exploring North Cornwall. A guide is provided which provides some excellent recommendations for eating out and places to go. Would recommend, if you are thinking of booking don't hesitate!

Loverly property

Very clean and spacious accommodation for the two of us with parking right outside. As the weather wasn’t too kind to us it was nice to come back and light the log burner which made the place very cosy. Facilities were all of high quality and everything was thought of. Highly recommend The Bank restaurant in Bude excellent food and very reasonable. Also the welcome pack with cream tea was much appreciated.

As soon as we arrived we fell in love with Little Rowans! We have never stayed in such a well presented property. It smelt lovely as soon as you walked in and everything looked like brand new! The space is well thought out with everything and more thaat you could ever need. Helen and Andy were very friendly and helpful when we had a query. Would higky recommend and hope to return in the future. 5* plus!!

We've just got back from the most amazing stay at Little Rowens. The perfect place for a couple or sole traveller. The property is spacious, clean and has everything you need. All the furnishings in the property are high end, no expense has been spared. Helen and Andy (the hosts) are so welcoming and want you to have a nice stay, and they'll go out of their way to make you feel at home. They only live next door so if you need anything they can easily help out. For instance, I mentioned to Helen that we were into outdoor swimming and then later that day she had brought round a wild swimming book for us to borrow, which was so thoughtful of her. There are also some local guide books and info inside the property for you to use too. Make sure you download the property app before you go too, as it's got loads of useful local info to help you plan your trip, as well as info about what the property contains too! My partner and I stayed here for 1 week and used it as our base whilst we travelled about during the day. It was always so nice to come back at the end of the day. It's just a 5 min drive into Bude town centre or around a 30 min walk. There's also a nice pub 5 min walk up the road that does good food. We really can't wait to come back to Bude again soon and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Little Rowens again, it was a very special place.

A Blissful Week

First class in every way. So beautifully thought out and presented Little Rowans is exceptional. The gravel garden is a lovely spot for an evening drink with the bees humming in the lavender and views over the countryside. The house is spacious, light and very comfortable and The Preston Gate, a 5 minute stroll up the lane, does some good food including takeaway. Our 2nd stay here. We came back for more! This part of North Cornwall feels far from the crowds.

Pleasant stay at Little Rowans Bude

One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in. The house and it’s setting are delightful and is equipped with all that you need for a holiday. We had a warm welcome from the owners who live on site and the dream tea was delicious.
