Aww man. I booked this place purely on reviews, but the room didn't spark joy. We had room #11 , which seems like a cool big fun room. However, they sealed up the fireplace, and it is right on the corner of a very busy street. The room backs up to that, and was incredibly loud. No blackout blinds, in fact 1989 verticals that are missing 4 blades. No dark and very noisy. Hvac is not good, weird reservations needed for hot tub instead of fcfs. No iron in room skip this one.

Great location on HWY near downtown Salida

Clean, bright and comfortable room. We were able to bring our small service dog. Reserved salt-water hot tub, very nice. Hotel was near full which is nice to see. Staff was friendly, accommodating and made us feel welcome.

All lovely. Wish we would have known that the hot tub and sauna must be reserved and you cannot do that until you arrive. So don’t arrive after 3 pm if you want to reserve for the evening! Breakfast was like a chain hotel. It could be improved to suit the property. The rooms were very nice.
