All around this place fulfilled my expectations and was probably nicer than I expected. By all measures I was very pleased with the choice to stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The evening reception was a nice way to end a longer day of travel. Not inexpensive but worth the price.

The hotel calls itself “upscale” but it is no such thing. It’s not any better than a La Quinta. Our bathroom was shabby with rotted parts of the bathroom that is in dire need of updating. The pillows were like rocks and for what we paid for an alleged upscale hotel there were no robes or coffee in the room. Also the coffee was watered down and gross. What kind of hotel calls itself upscale and makes guests use paper cups only at breakfast? How cheap can you be? If this was a cheaper place I wouldn’t have cared but don’t be fooled by the nice pictures or the 4.4 rating or the misleading description.

We loved our stay at The Green Mountain Inn! The hotel was just what we wanted for our Vermont stay. It was clean and had all the New England charm. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will stay here every time we are in the Burlington area!
