Lovely old fashioned coaching Inn. Fabulous bar area, quirky comfortable large rooms. Nice dinner, great breakfast (included in price). Very good value.
Mark , his wife and team create a friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much of a problem.
My only criticism would be the standard of the croissants and danish pastries. they never looked fresh and appetising, the croissants were very bready, I will let you off the fruit selection because the whole country suffers from that!!!
Comfortable stay for our one night visit. We were actually moved to another hotel due to a burst water pipe, we were informed the day before, but we had the room at the same price and had breakfast thrown in so it worked out ok
A nice English pub/hotel experience. The property is tired and needs maintenance. Lack of attention to detail in common areas. Window sills and window curtains dirty.
