To start, we travel several Xs a yr and know you get what you pay for, especially in other countries. Knew 100% this wasnt what were accustomed to but due to early sargassum we changed coasts last min, resulting in quality sacrifices. That being said RPBC was very clean, food was avg but didnt get sick and everything we had was certainly edible. Drinks were fine, just need to ask for what you want, my thing is 7 year havana club(nothing special ik)and both palaces had it. In room safe holds 1 laptop/ 1 tab and valuables snuggly, is very important to me and rarely mentioned, was in good working order and secured to wall satisfactorily. There is a switch knob/deadbolt under door handle but no flip/clasp upper lock. Rooms were clean to a solid standard, ac worked fine, very little privacy. Bathtub in middle of floor a few feet from bed, no partition just a small toilet room and shower open to room, if not a couple, its certainly not suitable for anything but, being that we are, had no issues. Low rating is 100% attributable to the demographic that was prevalent which was to say the least, uncultured, loud, rude, distasteful, very urban atmosphere! Saving grace for us, was access to the sister palace RPCSL, more relaxed & comfortable atmosphere, any time at resorts was spent there, cannot speak to rooms but read theyre in need of update. As for the overall experience would never stay at Baja again but may consider the RPCSL if looking for a budget AI.

I stayed at the RIU Hotel and unfortunately had a bad experience with every room I was given. I had three rooms during my stay, and each one had serious issues that made the visit extremely frustrating. The first room had very little water pressure in the shower, making it almost unusable. The second room had a broken bathroom holder and insects, which was unacceptable in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The third room was the worst. the fridge wasn’t working, and the ceiling was leaking water, creating an unsafe and uncomfortable environment. I expected much better from a hotel under the RIU brand. These problems should have been addressed before assigning rooms to guests. Overall, this stay was a huge disappointment and I would not recommend this location to others until serious improvements are made. I also had videos to share but it allows only pictures.

The staff is amazing! The property is extremely well maintained and updated. The rooms are comfortable and the shower had plenty of water pressure which is a complaint for many properties in different resort towns of Mexico. Service staff are so accommodating and extremely engaging.

We had a fantastic stay at the resort! The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety to satisfy all tastes, and the entertainment was top-notch — from live music to fun themed nights, there was always something to enjoy. The activities offered were also a highlight, with everything from water sports to guided tours keeping us engaged throughout our trip. The only downside was that the resort doesn’t allow rideshare drivers onto the property, so we had to walk down to the first gate to catch our ride. It was a bit inconvenient, especially with luggage, but overall, it didn’t take away too much from an otherwise amazing experience.

The property and service were great. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. My buddy choked on the steak as it was too tough to chew and needed assistance to dislodge the steak. My steak was undercooked and inedible (photo below). In my opinion, the Italian restaurant is by far the best food option. The pool parties next door were incredible. We also caught 2 marlin off the property using a charter a boat In the marina which was the highlight of the trip. I also woke up one night with a large burn/scrape on my arm and unsure where this came from. I am assuming the pool. Overall, average all inclusive. However, I would stay elsewhere where you get more bank for your buck.
