Our stay at the comfort inn was over and above any other motel service and hospitality that we have ever had before.We highly recommend anyone who is looking for a 5star hotel at economical rates to try out the comfort inn, in Calgary Alberta.

Very old, musty smelling rooms. Poor water pressure in shower. Hot tub was closed. Pool was too cold. Elevator made very weird noises. Room almost smelled like old cigarettes or at least stale in a way we were not used to. Breakfast was minimal and the eggs/sausage seemed reheated and not fresh. Overall I would not recommend this although it was cheap.

The bed linens had holes and tears in them, they did not even cover the mattress. The room furniture and fixtures were very old and tired. Wifi access was not working, hot tub was closed.

We didn't have breakfast and we used the heat which worked good. We went down for a medical reason and the surgery was cancelled because the machine broke down. But due to their own reasons, they wouldn't refund us the one night even tho we were booked out before 1 1. They did credit us a good portion of it though.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay - from the friendly staff and exceptional service, to the clean and spacious rooms with comfy beds. The pool and waterslide are very well-maintained and made for a fun stay for our grandson. The staff are warm and kind, especially the woman who prepared the free breakfast - greeting every person with a smile and "good morning". The hotel sits on a quiet and safe street close to every convenience you can imagine. This is a well-tended property, operated with pride, and we plan to stay there when next we visit Calgary! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
