I am sure this is a nice apartment, but this was the oddest VRBO experience I have ever had.I booked this apartment a few months ago. When I was getting ready for my trip, I discovered that the host had switched apartments. I only found out the day before my arrival when I contacted the host to confirm the entry details from my reservation and was told they would not work. When I checked the listing, I realized it was now a completely different apartment in a different location, on a different floor, with different entry instructions. The two apartments were comparable, but I had specifically booked the original unit because it was in the same building as someone I was visiting. Because of that, I wanted to cancel.I called VRBO directly to handle this given how odd the situation was. They were excellent. Their customer service team was very helpful and arranged a different accommodation for me. The replacement was more expensive, but VRBO covered the additional cost.In the end, everything worked out well. So, this is not really a review of the apartment itself. Rather, it is a review of the experience of not being able to stay in the apartment I originally booked.
