This property is one of the worst I have ever stayed at. My bike was stolen right off my bike rack from my car in the hotel parking lot. One of the hotel employees was in collusion with the perpetrator (a lot more detail to this that I will not get into on this platform) and a police report was filed and other law enforcement agencies are also involved. The staff, management, and their insurance company was apathetic and defensive. They are condescending, lack customer service skills, and proper judgment. Lastly, they will skew the situation to fit their narrative.

Construction noise and smell

Hotel was nice, construction noise and grinding metal smell was not. Why put guests in a room on a floor where there is construction, saws cutting and grinding at 8am on a Saturday morning. We were eventually put on a different floor but why not put us there to begin with

A budget hotel that had rooms with a full kitchen . Good for extended stays . Laundry facilities available . Very continent for walking to restaurants and bars . Parking is a bit of a challenge as there are not a lot of spots, although we did get one every night during our six night stay.

Hotel was close to the CBD, buses and the river. Very walkable area. Our accommodation was spacious, front of house staff always friendly. The one thing that let them down was that our room wasn’t serviced 2 days running, even though we mentioned it when we got replacement coffee and asked for fresh face washers.

A mixed bag.

Very good front desk staff and housekeepers were cheerful and helpful but this is an old hotel with the discomfits that come with that. Carpets a bit grubby, furniture could do with an update and the shower/bath needed grab rails to make it safe for getting in and out. The fridge was a right hand opener in a tight, left hand corner. Reverse that for the microwave and it made for a very difficult kitchen, especially with the skimpy utensils provided. A step ladder needed to get cups and glasses out of the cupboards. For all that it was conveniently situated and the bed was very comfortable so a bit of a mixed bag and think we will look for something better next time.

Its would have been great if there was an air conditioner in the bedroom. The air con in the living room was good but didnt reach the bedroom. Staff were friendly and efficient.
