Lovely Relaxed Stay

We stayed one night in order to visit the nearby vineyards. The Inn on Pine was easy to locate, check-in was smooth and our room was well-equipped and immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful with local advice and the freshly baked cookies were delicious. Walking from the hotel to the main street felt safe and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice spot, but could use a few improvements.

The bed was very comfy. The breakfast each morning was also very good. I had a little trouble with climate control in the room, and the single pool towel was not nearly sufficient. It would have been nice to have had extra towels at the pool. The chaises could stand to be upgraded, too. Also, the “no smoking” signs need to be bigger and more plentiful because I smelled cigarette smoke frequently during my stay.

This is our second year staying at the Inn on Pine. They are wonderful, good breakfasts, quiet and close to the little town of Calistoga and good restaurants. We were even able to charge our Tesla on the property since we were staying there. Will go back again next year.

The Inn on Pine is a quaint family-friendly property that offers all of the essential amenities needed for a relaxing getaway, while within walking distance from shops and restaurants and easily accessible from the main highway going to and from popular wineries and hiking trails. My husband and I were traveling with three young children and we selected the room with two queen beds. It happened to be a quiet corner room next to the office, and conveniently located upon our door step was the main lobby/dining area. We loved the warm cozy fireplace there during breakfast time and the fresh baked cookies being offered in the afternoon. Our kids loved hanging out at the swimming pool and Jacuzzi, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We didn't hear any busy vehicles, just birds singing around us.
