We chose this hotel for our honeymoon, so we had high expectations.
The reception was friendly upon arrival, and the overall facilities were decent. The room was spacious, though slightly dated, and the terrace offered a nice view — though privacy was limited as neighboring rooms were clearly visible. Soundproofing was also not ideal. I also noticed several dark spots on one of the mirrors.
What disappointed me the most was the service. After the first cleaning, we returned to find a used towel left in the bathtub — and this was not an isolated incident. There was always something slightly unfinished about the housekeeping. On the first day, some amenities were already nearly empty, including the hair conditioner, even though we hadn’t used them. I expected them to be refilled after housekeeping, but they weren’t. When I called the front desk, I was told that I would have to wait until the next morning. Even after asking again the following day, amenities remained unfilled until we checked out. At some point, I simply gave up on asking. The room key frequently malfunctioned, requiring several trips to the front desk, and the room only had two very small trash bins, which felt quite inconvenient.
As it was our honeymoon, we had hoped for at least a touch of thoughtful service — not necessarily anything special, but at least the basics done right. Unfortunately, even those weren't properly taken care of. Considering the amount we paid, the service didn't meet our expectation.
