Perfect location for Cambridge station. No noise from station at all. However lots of noise from banging doors. Bed and shower really good but carpet in room really needs a good clean

Great location

Very nice hotel next to the railway station. About 25mins walk to the city centre. There’s a bus connection too, but as the weather was so lovely prefered to walk. Had a nice quiet room with comfortable bed. The only minus was the fact that tv didn’t work on Sunday morning. I can warmly recommend the hotel for your visit to Cambridge!

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Ibis Cambridge Central Station Hotel during our one-day visit to Cambridge. We arrived by train, and although I was reluctant to book a hotel adjacent to the railway station sight unseen, the plaza between the station and the hotel - as well as the hotel itself - exceeded my expectations. The amenities and food options adjacent to the hotel facing the plaza were very convenient. Regarding the room itself, it was very modern, clean, and very very comfortable. Although our room was on the 4th floor with a window facing the railway tracks, we could not hear the trains at all because of the outstanding sound-proof windows, something I remember a previous reviewer mentioning. The room was equipped with large, high quality bath towels but no hand towels, a minor inconvenience but more than acceptable given all the other outstanding features. I have given this hotel my highest rating, something I do not do often, because the hotel and adjacent plaza far exceeded my expectations. P.S. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Ibis, which offered a good balance between price and proximity to the city centre (about a 25-minute walk). The staff were friendly and helpful—special thanks to Jordan for the great service and tips! The room was small, and the poorly built in-room toilet lacked sound isolation, but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent, with enough variety to start the day. The location was also convenient, with shops, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby.

Lovely hotel, great location.

Hotel itself was lovely. Great location and was perfect for the event I attended.! Check-in was smooth, and was allowed to check in early which was fantastic. Sadly found the bed far too hard so didn't sleep well at all, and had shoulder ache from it! Overall happy with stay but thought it a little overpriced compared to other hotels in immediate area. lovely bar next to it, and sainsburys/greggs also next door for any last minute supplies/breakfast if not booked at hotel.
