Beautiful view. It was the clearest cabin we have stayed in. Beds were nice not lumpy or sunken down. Hot tub was clean and was very relaxing under the stars. If I have to complain about something it would be I wish it had king size beds. But as beautiful as the cabin was inside we didnât care about the beds. We loved it so much we stayed another day.
Every detail was here!!! Beautiful cabin, great view, owner was really nice and responds quickly. The area has a little bit of everything!!!
We will definitely be back, very impressed.
It was a good cabin with a nice outdoor view. I liked the decor and modern feel. I liked the bathrooms a lot. I think there is a nocturnal hornet nest close by. They swarmed around when the light outside came on when we first got there.
Our stay was much needed after I was ran over by a semi truck about 3 months ago. The stay allowed my wife and I the time to reconnect and be thankful for the many blessings in our life. While there are a few minor items on the house that need fixed overall the house was amazing. Itâs perfect for a couple or small family to get away. Our favorite part was sitting in the hot tub at night and watching the stars! We even saw a shooting star! We also enjoyed driving to the Natural Bridge and checking it out.
We took our family here recently for their spring break and had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. There are plenty of windows throughout so lots of natural light and unobstructed views of the beautiful surroundings. Everything looked practically brand new with contemporary fixtures and appliances. It was nice to be in the wilderness, yet still have the comforts of modern day life. This was our second visit to Red River Gorge and while this house was located further away from the main strip of restaurants and hiking trails than the previous house we stayed at, it wasn't too far of a drive. All of our questions about the house prior to our visit were quickly answered. We would definitely consider staying here again for future visits.
It was a great place and beautiful location⊠a little more secluded than I imagined. Enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, gas stove, and waterfall showers. Iâd only give 2 recommendations:
1. Have a covered spot on the porch. It rained most of our stay and there was nowhere to sit outside where we wouldnât get rained on.
2. We felt terrible we didnât have any cash to tip the cleaners. Maybe mention it somewhere while booking.
Was a really nice time with my wife. We took the week and really just wanted privacy and a quite time and that's what we got. The views around the gorge was a good time and we enjoyed the hike to the natural arch. The door to the patio wouldn't lock without some effort so we just left that be. Besides that everything was a great time.
This place is perfect! The place is very new and clean, and the view from the balcony is incredible. It's a short drive to a lot of different parks for hiking, etc., highly recommend staying here!
Five girlfriends from the same hometown originally had a wonderful time celebrating our friend of over 40 years 60th birthday! The house was nice both inside and out! All the neat decoration touches was great!
My husband and daughter had a wonderful Dad/Daughter trip! The house far exceeded expectations and the sunrises were spectacular!
Thank you for the gift of this retreat for themâ€ïž
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this little red cabin. It was easy to find and exactly as listed. The views were great and the best part was the sunken hot tub. Nice little getaway from the city!
What an amazing property. The cabin is beautiful and looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. The kitchen is great and is stocked with everything you could ever need. And the views from the deck donât get any better.
Campton is a short drive from hiking but it gets you away from everything which exactly what we all wanted. We hope to return soon!
No Air conditioning, Had to sleep OUTSIDE, No after hours communication
Hot as Hades. The property is beautiful and pristine. It could have been heavenly. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working. It was 89 degrees. We called and called the rental company and the owners, nobody responded because we self checked in at 5:00pm. My son has severe asthma and can not tolerate the heat. Having traveled far, and hiked the Gorge all day, we were too exhausted to leave. We slept outside on the patio furniture and vacated in the morning instead of staying for the remainder of our stay.
