Pros: nice space, screened in porch, nice bonfire area, close to Natural Bridge, family friendly with older kids, nice hike near the house to another arch, fairly well stocked kitchen, good AC, reasonable checkout listCons: water & maintenance issues in the cabin- water leak from ceiling light into one of the baths downstairs & black mold in the other downstairs bath around the ceiling light. Hot tub not super clean- lots of sand/debris in the bottom. One of the bathroom doors has a hole in it and is taped up with blue tape. Additionally the sliding glass shower door in the basement is not hung right and you can barely shut the door without feeling like it might break.I did notify the property management immediately of the leak in the basement- I got a confirmed response the next morning. They asked no questions about the leak (how bad was it, was it still leaking, etc) and just said they'd put it on their maintenance list. Overall the maintenance issues did not significantly impact our stay. We still had a nice time and enjoyed the space.
This location was perfect for a long weekend. We enjoyed our stay and how spacious the cabin was. The bathrooms are on the small side, but the windows and outdoor areas made up for it. We will be back again.
We had the best girls weekend at this cabin. The cabin it self was beautiful, the large windows over looking the scenery was so peaceful and the location couldnât of been better! We loved our stay and will recommend this place to anyone!!
Definitely a great place to stay in Red River Gorge! Beautiful, clean cabin with a truly fantastic screened in porch and firepit area. The only drawback were the bunk bed rooms which were limited on space. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay!
Wonderful time at Honeysuckle Bridge! Beautiful house and well laid out! I was surprised at the quality of kitchen and furnishings! Three groups of family together and while the house is roomy and very nice, we all gravitated to the screened on porch for meals and evening game nights! Highly recommend đ
Cabin was very nice and true to the pictures. Gravel road was no problem for folks in cars either. Easy to get a hold of the property manager for any questions. Thanks!
The property is really beautiful. The location is private and scenic. The house is decorated well and comfortable for multiple couples. We were traveling with and infant, and the property was well suited for all of us.
Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness of some of the areas of the house. We found several issues, but the worst were the showers. We think that with some better housekeeping, the home would have been perfect and we hope that the issues are addressed for future guests.
This is the second time our jeep group has rented this cabin. We come down for a weekend of 4 wheeling on the DBBB. Itâs close to the trails, well maintained and a gray place to gather and eat after a day on the trails.
Honeysuckle Bridge cabin is the nicest rental we have stayed in. The unit was clean, and nicely appointed. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace and large windows. We saw red headed woodpeckers and deer on property. The kitchen was well equipped, the sheets and blankets were soft, and the beds were comfortable. The temperature was mild which made it possible to enjoy the screened porch and fire pit area. We would recommend the unit and really have nothing negative to say.
We had a blast staying at this amazing cabin! Nice, open living room and kitchen area for people to mingle and hang out. We loved the fire pit as well. Great location as well, close to the few restaurants that are in the gorge and not far from great hiking.
Thanks for an awesome stay!
This cabin was perfect - clean, campfire with lots of seating, screened in porch for morning coffee, hot tub and other perks. Great layout - big gathering area but other sneak away areas for kids to go to be on their own. Great location and trails right out the front door! Highly recommend!!
We enjoyed the home, had a bit of a hard time finding it at first, as our GPS took us past it. The kitchen is well stocked and very clean. I really appreciate the spices, foil, and coffee extras that are left. The beds are comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The screened in porch is very nice to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. Location is nice, as it feels a bit private but not too far from ice cream and some restaurants. It was great for a family weekend retreat.
