The Perfect Base Camp to Explore Canberra and Surrounds
If you draw a circle around this apartment with a 30-kilometre radius, you will embrace almost every major tourist attraction in the Canberra region. This includes Corin Forest Mountain Resort and Tidbinbilla Nature reserve in the south to Cockington Green and the Australian Dinosaur Museum in the north.
This makes it a central location and a perfect base camp to explore Canberra.
Centrally located in the heart of Tuggeranong Town Centre this spacious apartment has two massive bedrooms with two queen size beds in each bedroom. The upstairs bedroom includes a 5 seater lounge and two small balconies. The lower level includes the kitchen, the bathroom, a large dining / living area and a large outdoor terrace. Step outside the front door and you are in the heart of Tuggeranong town center with coffee shops, restaurants and shopping complexes.
The apartment features:
Two very large bedrooms with two queen sized beds in each bedroom, sleeping a total of eight guests
The ensuite has a large shower plus toilet and vanity. A washer, dryer and a stainless steel laundry tub is also included.
A large balcony / terrace which offers plenty of space for outdoor eating and relaxing
A full sized kitchen with fridge, oven, hotplates and range hood, and pots and pans for cooking. The kitchen also includes a toaster, microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker.
A meals / family area with a table, sofa bed, tv and coffee table.
Guest access is via the automatic sliding doors on the street level on Anketell street. There is an elevator to take guests to the apartment located on the second floor. After hours access to the street level currently requires a key. Entry to the apartment is via a pin-code or swipe access smart lock.
Once guests are checked in, there is normally only interaction with the host if the guest requires it. We give you your privacy as we would if it was your home.
This apartment is located in the heart of the Tuggeranong Town Centre, directly opposite Southpoint (formerly Tuggeranong Hyperdome). Numerous coffee shops and places to eat align the streets as you walk out the front doors.
Although there is an abundance of shopping and dining within a few paces of our doors, it is just a short stroll to the Tuggeranong bus interchange, where express busses leave at 10 minute intervals to the other major town centers in the Canberra region.
There is free parking on site in the service area on nights and weekends. Daytime paid public parking is available. We do have a limited number of single car lock up garages available. Longer stay guests are given priority on the garages.
