It was really grubby and dated. It didn't look at all like the pictures online. The staff was nice, but it needs a severe deep clean, our sliding door doesn't open ,the cigarette yellow shower curtain, the heater when it turned on sounded like a helicopter landing in the bedroom.

Staff were very nice. The rooms are very old. Curtains falling off the rod, dents in the door, shower only trickled, tissue box falling out of the wall, one thin blanket on each bed, but WAS clean, and beds were comfortable. I’d stay here again but at a much lower price.

Fine room to stay for two nights, views from the motel were great! Parking was easy and convenient! Staff was fine - we were 30 mins early for our check in (with a newborn and toddler) and had to wait until 4pm on the dot. Dogs aren’t allowed to be left alone (which we didn’t know about until we got there) so we had to take them to Banff and thus were unable to dine at any restaurants. This should be made very clear when booking a pet friendly room and paying the additional pet fee. I feel like we got ripped off there as we weren’t able to enjoy our stay to the fullest, especially for $750/2 nights. There are so many small improvements they can easily make. The baseboard in our room was coming apart, it felt very aged, spring mattresses. However, Canmore as usual is beautiful and it’s worth it to wake up to the mountains. Will be returning to Canmore, just not to this motel unfortunately!

The view was spectacular! The room was spacious and tidy. We appreciated having a kitchen which was well stocked with supplies. The room was well heated but personally too hot for us overnight. Staff were very friendly and prompt if needed. The walls were very thin and when our neighbours spoke too loudly we could hear every word. We were very mindful of our own volume as we have a 3 year old and we didn’t want to be too noisy for our neighbours either. Overall we had a good stay.
