My wife and I were extremely excited to stay at this property. We are about to expect our first baby and had planned this getaway as our last babymoon before her arrival. Communication was excellent, and while the check-in and check-out details were odd, the instructions were very straightforward.
Upon arrival to the property to our immediate disappointment, every single elevator in the Aurora building was down "due to scheduled maintenance" With no alternative supportive route this obviously put a huge bad taste in our mouths as my wife is 8.5 months pregnant and now has to go up and down at least 3 flights of stairs anytime we wanted to leave the room. The sign showed this was in effect for MONTHS prior to our arrival, yet it was not indicated anywhere in the property's details. We had no choice as this was not a hotel, and we simply couldn't just move to a different room or book somewhere else at a huge cost for the last minute.
The room itself was as advertised and was impeccably clean, however there was clearly some sort of flooding incident as about a 1/3 rd of the ceiling in the kitchen and dining room had plastic squares bolted to the ceiling. There were also multiple burned-out bulbs in the suite.
Due to the elevator situation, we only visited the pools once, which was also disappointing, as we ultimately chose this property for this feature. While the pools themselves were as expected, the entire pool area does not appear like the photos at all.
