I had a wonderful first stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Canton by IHG. The property is very clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking and I enjoyed the outdoor pool. The location is excellent—just minutes from movie theaters, restaurants, and other conveniences, which made visiting family in the area very easy. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return.

Overall it was good holiday inn. Good breakfast. Everyone was nice. Good location. My only issue was the room smelled like smoke. My stay was for 5 days and over the period of 2 days they “could not” move my room. I understood the first day but by the second day it made no sense. Now I am home, I can still smell the room(smoke) on my clothes and luggage.

Nice place

The Hotel was clean and the room was cleaned by a very friendly cleaning staff. The breakfast was good with a pancake machine, oatmeal, eggs, Yogurt, cinnamon buns, bagels, various cereals, bacon, sausage... The breakdfast staff was also very nice. The Hotel was 100% booked but the room we had was very quiet.

We always stay here when traveling through Atlanta. It’s always very clean and quiet. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good and is kept well stocked and clean.

We paid for a clean and safe environment the whole property is very nice but we found Bed Bugs in our beds I had book at Fairfield next to this property. But decided to stay at Holiday Inn for the breakfast reviews 10 years ago we stayed at a hotel in Ocean City and we brought bedbugs to our house, we had to throw away our beds at home due to the bed bugs be brought back from that trip after several months This is the reason we are rating this hotel so poorly

Bad odor

Strong chemical smell upon arrival. Figured it was something they cleaned with. Should have requested another room. Odor was completely overwhelming. Left for dinner, came back and still smelled. Went to bed and woke up with allergy type symptoms. All of our clothing and bags have a chemical smell to them. Not sure what it is. Something was wrong with this room.
