Not totally Satisfied

The thing that sells this villa is the outside space, fantastic large pool and beautiful dock area with a great view down the canal. One issue was a trip hazard hosepipe running from a tap to a level controller in the pool. The inside was large, airy and comfortable. All appliances worked as they should but definitely needed an upgrade due to rust, particularly on the washing machine. We found the kitchen and bathrooms dated and definitely needs an upgrade particularly the main bedroom ensuite. We were asked to phone the management company when we arrived, which we did twice as we had a few issues. They were:The trip hazard hoseOne of the fans outside, when turned on shook so violently we were scared it was going to fall offThe door to the toilet in the main bedroom ensuite would not closeWe could not find the safe keyWe did not know how to turn on the jacuzzi.We received no communication back from them but as we were on holiday did not want to spend all our time chasing it.This is a lovely villa in a great location but is certainly in need of a refurb.

Comfort

We went without air conditioning for almost 2 weeks. The tub that was advertised was not holding water. The hot tub in the pool area had very to no jets. We were very disappointed. I must say that the manager in charge was trying her best to make us comfortable. She was there within a day to try and help us. We save all year to enjoy a vacation. Unfortunately this was not the best vacation.

Nice house but
.

Nice house and back yard area on the canal with screened in pool and tiki bar. However, the property manager was not very responsive. Informed her of master bath outlets not working and no one was sent to fix it. Also, tv is not a smart tv, so could not watch Netflix. Pool guy came and put chemicals in the pool but no note was left to let us know not to go in the pool for an hour. Thankfully, we were home and asked him before he left.

Poor communication

Kim: The place is run like a hedge fund trying to squeeze every penny from profligate guests. 1) When we arrived late on a Wednesday (also trash pickup day earlier in the neighborhood), the trash pickup bins were already full. We checked out two days before the next pickup day, so we had to leave the indoor trash cans full. A resident cockroach — large enough to be a household pet — seemed to enjoy the trash can bounty. (Well, at least SOMEONE knew what to do with the accumulated garbage.) 2) Virtually no hotel- or home-style amenities upon arrival, so until stores reopened the next day we could not shower, do laundry, clean up messes (no paper towels!), cook breakfast, etc. Only liquid hand soap was in each bathroom. 3) The hvac was locked on 80°F until the management company arrived the next day to set it lower. The first night we slept on top of the bed linen because the house was so hot. The management rep who finally appeared the next day did not know how to reset the hvac temperature, so she had to ask her brother to stop by and do it. 4) Similarly, the house “welcome” manual told us not to use the pool/Jacuzzi remote controller (an obtuse device) without phoning the management company first, and that we would be charged extra for electricity if we used the spa function too much. Too many rules and poor communication with host and “property management “

Lovely retreat

The house was really amazing. We had everything we needed. They had fishing poles, kayaks, and all the other amenities that you can think of the pool was lovely. The hot tub was great. The only thing that I would change would be I would put more safety features outside like step up step down, reflective tape around the deck

Beach Getaway with Friends

Overall, we loved our stay. The split bedroom plan was ideal for the two families, one with two children, and the other with none. The patio/pool deck was an oasis, with plenty of seating for all. The boat dock and patio with the tiki table was a great place to spend the mornings while sipping on a favorite beverage and watching the fish jump in the canal. The set up of the home was nice, in that the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, dishware, drinkware, and the like. The laundry was WONDERFUL, as it allowed us to wash our clothes before repacking for our departure. Finally, the beaxh chairs, floats, etc. came in handy for either the pool or beach. I would add the house does need a good deep cleaning, as there were some rough spots here and there (stains on the living room carpeting, cracked/broken tile, and baseboards that needed to be wiped down and painted. Two phone calls to the number provided in the house’s notebook produced only one answered call. This call was made when we decided to use the gas grill and found the propane tank empty. The house was amazing. Kids did not want to leave the pool and the views from the deck were amazing. They had everything we needed to help with traveling with young kids. Would love to come back to same place in future.

Relaxing Stay

Beautiful relaxing outdoor area especially the oversize deck. House was nice, but 1 bed seemed more like a full size instead of a queen size bed. They do provide a binder with information a must read because it states the air conditioner must be set between 73 to 79 degrees which was not state in Vrbo description as you could be charged for electricity.

We loved everything about that property. Well equipped with everything one might need. Great communication with Silvi whenever needed. Quiet neighborhood, huge deck, heated pool and whirlpool. Highly recommended!

The Perfect Vacay

I am a frequent visitor from the UK to Florida and so finding the perfect villa for me is everything. We have throughly enjoyed our stay at the villa, we were a family of 5 with lots of space for everyone. Perfect location to hire a boat to cabbage key and do some fishing. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and they were very accommodating. Small issue with the pool but was sorted swiftly and promptly. Pictures are true to life and we loved fishing off the dock. Would highly recommend this villa and we would love to come back.

Beautiful house right on the canal

This was probably the best house we've rented. The pictures are accurate. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, especially the first couple cooler days. There was a nice book explaining how to use the remote for the pool. Lots of towels and the bath towels were really soft and thick. I can't think of one bad thing to say about this property. My husband really liked being able to park in the garage. We will definitely rent this property again when we come back to Cape Coral.

Great view

The outside area was awesome! Very spacious and well equipped with chairs lounges and tables! Pool and spa worked the whole time we were there. Very very easy to control temperature. View was fantastic. Outside area was even better than the pictures on VRBO website. It was great to be close to walking trails. Excellent location! Close to just about everything! Both the property contact (Silvi) and the property owner were very responsive to our inquiries. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it!!

Seemed the owner did not want to keep the temperature up on the pool and hot tub. Heat pump was not on when we arrived.. I have pics of the settings, but never got to them. I believe she did not want to upgrade to a newer pump that would have fixed the problem. Pool kicked in the last 2 days. Spa could not be used at all! Filing claim for misrepresentation when I get home. Sad though, the home was a nice size and alright for its age. Owner seemed agitated that I called her on it everyday. Its a big part of vacationing. Pool and spa = RELAXATION.

Frustrating

The house was beautiful. However the inside was furnished very cheaply. Bad beds, bad pillows and the microwave didn't work from day 1. We couldn't use the pool the first 2 days. The out side furniture cushings were non existence. I must say from the pictures it was a big disappointment.
