The Champagne cottage was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We felt very much at home. The view of the mountains from the back terrace was beautiful. The property was private and peaceful. It was removed from the main resort facilities, which required a car/ shuttle to get to. There were fans in the rooms, but no functioning AC. Having a clothes washer was much appreciated.

Absolutely spectacular — our favorite stay in South Africa! This has been by far the most spectacular place we stayed during our trip to South Africa. The customer service was incredible — every member of the team at Boschendal Farms made us feel so welcome. Our kids loved the day camps at the Tree House. Andrea, the kids’ club director, is phenomenal. Our children couldn’t wait to go back each day! She taught them about farming, composting, how to pick fruit, and even led them on hikes. They had cooking lessons, horse riding, and so many hands-on experiences. We couldn’t have asked for a better family experience. Huge thanks to the entire Boschendal team — you made this unforgettable!

We stayed at Boschendal as the first part of a 2-week South Africa honeymoon and we could not have imagined a better place to spend the first few days of our marriage! Our cottage was stunning, comfortable, quiet and luxurious. The breakfast provided was incredible. The service is some of the best we've experienced ever. The property is exquisite. The activities are plenty - hiking, horseback riding, wine tasting, picnicking, etc. This is one of the most special properties I've ever stayed at on vacation and glowingly recommend it to everyone!!
