The property was well-stocked and situated in a beautiful natural setting. Mornings with fresh coffee on the wrap-around lanai were particularly memorable. We were grateful that the owner provided us with coffee, local fruits, beach & snorkeling equipments, towels - everything we needed to enjoy the island without having to pack extra. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but there are some aspects worth noting for future guests. The loud bird chirping started in the evening, and we assumed it would stop before dark, but it continued until the next morning. It turned out it wasnât birds at all, but frogs. The property is surrounded by Coqui Frogs, whose sounds can reach 100 decibels. At night, the sound is persistent and might make it difficult to rest, though we got used to it by the second night. The temp was around 80 when we stayed, but only the main bedroom had a ceiling fan. The second bedroom also did not have a window covering, so if you are planning to have your child sleep there, be aware of both the light in the mornings and the noise level from the frogs. As the description mentioned, there are a lot of bugs in the area because the property is nestled among many trees and natural surroundings, and some may find their way inside, so future visitors should be prepared for this. We found beetles in our blanket, but fortunately, there were plenty of extra blankets in the closet. Overall, this property offers a comfortable base for exploring the island.
