We spent thanksgiving on the island as first timers! The house was absolutely beautiful and fully stocked with every necessity you could possibly need. The owners and property manager were incredibly accommodating, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish.It was perfect for families spacious exterior, comfortable and cozy interior, and designed to help you relax the moment you walk in. My kids loved the amenities and we loved that they delete continuously entertained! They truly created a little island of paradise here! North Captiva itself is a treasure, full of great people, beautiful surroundings, and this home made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Better than Description

We stayed at Peace of Paradise over the holidays and it surpassed expectations. Check in was a breeze with Kale meeting us at the dock with golf carts ready to go. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our time there. Although the island still showed some signs of damage from the hurricane, the property was in perfect shape and the beach was amazing! Thanks for a great stay!!!

Fabulous Island Getaway

This property has the most outdoor amenities on the entire island! Hammocks, tiki bar with bar swings, pool with a waterfall, grilling and pizza making and so much more. The beds were comfortable and the house was fully stocked. We love that the layout of the home is one big circle and every room is super unique! We will book this property again if it is available for our annual Labor Day trip.

Great home on the island

We had great communication with the owner throughout our stay, and property managers for most of our stay. The house was beautiful with easy access to the beach! Fully equipped for our needs and lots to do right at the house. The only minor thing is that the bunk room was fairly tight, and definitely would have been chaotic had we needed more than one or two of the beds.

Escape from winter

Enjoyed a little adventure to North Captiva from cold Minnesota! Had a great time walking the shell covered beaches and catching up with family in a quiet, relaxing place. Great home to stay at! Communication and planning was amazing, highly recommend.

Multi generational family vacation that didn’t disappoint! North Captiva is a fantastic place and Peace of Paradise was a lovely home away from home. The pool and outdoor space was the highlight of the home. Kitchen is stocked for all of our cooking needs. Highly recommend

The house was super cute and clean, the outside bar with swings was super fun and having a shower outside was convenient. The pool was nice with the waterfall very calming. The pool lights at night did not work. It was nice having 2 golf carts.

Truly a Peace of Paradise!

This was our second trip to the island and it lived up to everything we remembered! Peace of Paradise is a wonderful place. The downstairs bar and hammock area, along with the pool are AMAZING. Whenever we were not at the beach this is where we were. The house was clean and decorated so cute. The beach is only a short trip away, and "town" (aka the restaurant/bar) was close too! Clean up is still on-going on the island, but it's still the most relaxing place!

Peace at Piece of Paradise!

We loved our Captiva Island vacation! The design of the round home and all its windows for natural light was so lovely. The home was clean and had such beautiful style and decor. The kitchen and grill amenities were fabulous. We very much enjoyed the outdoor features and all the seating areas. The pool is situated nicely for sun and shade, and we really loved the waterfall feature for a peaceful sound while enjoying the patio area. The beach was just a five minute walk along a quiet and pleasant road. The whole island is quiet and peaceful. We absolutely loved how secluded and peaceful it was
no cars, no big buildings, the beaches were wide and open and not crowded. And our kids had a blast at the beach every morning, playing in the sand and water as it came in and the many shells there were to find (I loved this too!). We then spent a couple hours at the pool in the high sun if the afternoon, and then went back to the beach for the late afternoon and sunset. It was fabulous. A truly magical place. And worth some of the logistical effort (shuttle, grocery planning, and ferry) to get there. Molly, the owner, was very thorough with trip planning information and promptly in touch, as was the concierge service they have hired to take care of anything for you during your stay. We would love to stay here again!
