This hotel is in a great local for everything. The owners are so helpful and friendly. It was my daughter’s birthday and they left a bottle of fizz and 6 glasses in her room. We had a perfect stay. It could do with an update but for a few nights stay it’s just perfect. We will definitely be back

Lovely stay here. The staff is terrific and the room had everything I needed. The street traffic can be a bit noisy in the evenings, but I found that it died down by 10:00 to 11:00 PM. My room faced the street, and the view was worth it. Though I did use earplugs at night, my sleep was just fine. Thank you for making my experience in Cardiff so pleasant!

This property was not well maintained. The room was disgusting- it had black mold and stains on the bedding. We could not stay there and had to find somewhere else to stay.

I loved my stay here! It's a really cozy place and close to the castle, shopping, and lots of other stuff. The staff is fantastic and friendly, I was always excited to chat with them. It is a very charming place

Disappointing inaccurate description

Hotel facilities were not as described. Web site said breakfast served daily but we arrived on a Tuesday to be told breakfast only available at weekends. Could not connect to wifi. No soap in toilet only shower gel in bathroom. Safety notice regarding hot water has taps wrongly labelled. If description had been accurate I would not have booked this hotel.

Pickleball visit

Hotel is a little tired but spotlessly clean and very good for the price. Good central location to get to anything in the city centre, secure parking 5 mins walk away. Excellent restaurant downstairs which the hotel will get you a discount voucher for. Best part of the experience were the two receptionists we met who were helpful friendly and smiley- an absolute asset to the business!
