Elevator still not working for several months. First night heat stayed on couldn't turn the unit off no one answered the phone. Finally at 3:30 am went to front desk and showed them what I was dealing with. They offered to move me upstairs with no elevator. I wasn't going to move at 3:30 in the morning. Next day they moved me the room was cold but when you look up there was mold streaks throughout the whole ceiling. The exit door is busted so anyone can walk in at any time of the day or night. The breakfast was fine both days.

No Elevator. No Hope For Fixing It.

Elevator had been broken for the past year with no word on when it will be fixed. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We would stay again only if we could get a first floor room.

Everything was as expected at the property as far as staff and how they took care of our needs. We coudn't ask for better staff people. Only one thing that needs to be addressed and that is the elevator not working. It was not working back in April when I stayed here, it looks like either they don't want to spend the money to repair it or else they just don't care. I have no problems with walking up a flight of steps but, I know there are those with health issues, like my friend that traveled with me, Plus he is 82 years old. Being a retired guy who worked for 40 years in maintenance work, I know the elvator might be an expense to get fixed but, it still should be done. Other than that, we like the property and might came again next year as well. But I will ask for a ground floor room.

Staff is fantastic! Place could use a good updating. Peeling wall paper with mold behind it in halls, stained hallway carpeting, elevators broken but I was on first floor. Room was clean and tidy. Housekeeping was great. Front staff is great. Star with breakfast buffet was outstanding! Food was wonderful. Still giving you guys a high recommendation but hope you will update. Thank you!

The staff were exceptionally attentive and responsive to us. The hotel looks out onto open land and has a lovely view of the wild woods. The rooms were well equipped. I would certainly recommend this for several days while sightseeing in the area or for an overnight while traveling.

WONDERFUL PLACE

Trip was wonderful. Room was beautiful and everything was great! Will plan to stay there on our next trip through to Maine and back. Breakfast was wonderful. It was a full house at 6am with a big group of young teenage boys and she kept everything full and ready!

Hotel in desperate need of maintenance!

Very disappointed. We stopped for an overnight after hours of driving and the minute we entered the hotel smelled musty. The elevator was not operational so they moved us to 1st floor. There were fans where there was an obvious large water leak. The wall paper in the hall was falling off the walls and taped up! Our room ceiling was filled with water damage and the linens smelled musty. We didn’t sleep well due to the odor. The staff at breakfast was very friendly, as were the cleaning personnel in the hallways.
