The room was clean but I had to ask multiple times for toilet paper and towels (on our day of check in). Front desk staff was very kind and helpful but there was a disconnect between the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff.

Horrible breakfast experience

The breakfast experience is horrible. The breakfast closes at 9am. They will start removing the things starting 8:30am. By 8:50am most of the breakfast and accessories are packed up and told that your table needs to be emptied by 9am to start mopping. I stayed for 2 days and had the same experience on both days. Elevators are so old that no buttons (inside and floor level) will turn on. You just have to trust that it will work.

Very spacious, easy parking, had a two bedroom and two bathroom and living room with kitchen. It was great for our family of 5. We were right by the pool on the first floor. It was not noisy at all. Beds were comfortable. Loved the full-size refrigerator. Overall, excellent stay. Great customer service. Close to legoland and the beach. We were very impressed for the cost per night. Would definitely stay there again.

I was not very pleased with this property. In the 3 days we were there no one came and made our beds, emptied the trash, or gave us clean towels. The breakfast is also not good and once they run out of something they will not repenish the item. They don't have a full breakfast buffet so if you pick to stay here please don't expect that.

I’ll spring for a pricier hotel

For the most part our stay was really good but 1 of the rooms had a very disgusting smell. It honestly smelled like dirty carpet with pet urine soaked in it. I know the hotel allowed pets so it could have been that from previous guests. Also the rooms closest to the highway were really annoying when motorcycles would speed by at 3am.

It was “okay” nothing exceptional, nothing terrible. If you are prepping a room and do not know how many will be staying in it, then prepare it for the max amount of guest unless you are prepared to give extra items immediately at check in. Don’t make them come back and ask for things like extra towels and toilet paper.

It's very noisy, I don't think the rooms have good insulation, plus outside doors make it worse. The freeway traffic. Also, a bit disappointed in the building. No ice, have to go all the way up to an ice machine on the 3rd floor. All other ice machines were turned off. The staff did help me out with an extra chair for my room, for a meeting, so I was grateful for that and I will give it an A+ for comfort with the bed. All and all, I probablay wont' stay there again, just too many things I'd rather look for in the future.

This location is super noisy, which I should have expected, bring right off the highway, so I take responsibility. The room was dark and smelled like mold. Bed was ok and bedding clean.

My family and I were visiting Carlsbad for the weekend to check out Legoland. Pros: Great proximity to Legoland. Pool/hot tub were perfect Cons: Due to its proximity to the freeway, it wasn't very quiet. Rooms always felt damp/had no ventilation unless you opened a window/ran the fan. While the pool was great, towels weren't always available (luckily we brought our own). Wish the shower tiles were cleaned better. TVs need to be updated. Overall a decent stay for a short trip.
