Marco and team were so nice and accomodating, were genuinely interested to make sure we had a great week. Loved the house, very open and lots of thought was put into the details. Loved it!
My friends and I have been coming to the Monterey Jazz Festival for years now. But this was the first time we rented a home. With 4 bedrooms, one of which was a separate in-law unit, there was more than enough space and privacy for each of us to have time to ourselves after all the hustle and excitement of each day at the Festival. The kitchen and shared rooms (dining, living and den) enabled us to share meals and socialize with local friends in a more intimate setting than a crowded restaurant or bar.We werenât able to take advantage of the outdoor space because we returned too late or the fire pit wouldnât light. Oh, well, weâll introduce our friend to a sâmore another time. The house is located on a cul-de-sac so itâs very quiet, yet just minutes from Ocean Avenueâs shops and restaurants and less than 10-15 minutes from the Festival. The property manager and owner were very welcoming and attentiveâchecking in periodically to see how our stay was going. After this experience, itâs unlikely weâll go back to a hotel for future Festivals and hope to return next year.
Beautiful home in a quiet cul-de-sac within a few minutes' drive of downtown Carmel. Home was super clean, comfortable, very spacious, and had everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding and were able to share the house with other family members, so much better than staying in a hotel!
Great place for families. Very clean and lots of places to hang out. Separate ADU was a bonus for the older adults to stay when they needed quiet time. Plenty of parking. Close to downtown Carmel, grocery store and Monterey.Cooked a couple of meals and they had everything I needed.
Perfect size for my family who drove up for my brotherâs wedding. The groom-to-be had his own space with the guest house. Easy to find and close to what we needed.
We stayed here for a few days with extended family and we had a great time. The house was very inviting and perfect for our family to spend some quality time together. The amenities were great and the location was close to downtown Carmel and the beach too.
We had a wonderful time staying at the property for 4 nights. The location is great, the beds were comfortable and large, and the house was clean and functional. The only downside we experienced was that the fencing around the property was in rough shape in a few places, which made us a bit concerned about one of our dogs getting out.
This house was the perfect for 3 guys on a golf trip to stay. Quiet and very clean. It was a great place to come home to after being on a golf course all day.
This was a beautiful property and the property management is always very helpful. The check in process was seamless. Enjoyed the upgrades done to this house. I do wish there were more amenities such as a full size ironing board and more hand towels. Also, wish there was a better description that the 4th bedroom and other bathroom was in a different area of the house. You had to go into a different door outside in the front of the house. So those who wish to stay in that room would not be in the main house with everyone else.
House was just as advertised. Property manager went out of his way to get fans for the house as it was unseasonably warm while we were there. Would stay again if in area. Only downfall is to have to go pick up keys at management company.
My husband and I along with a son, our granddaughter and her husband spent a week in this comfortable, spacious and beautiful home. This was our first vacation in seven years and it could not have been in a better place. We had everything we needed or could want. We did not feel cramped as the house is laid out very well.We look forward to coming back.
The house was perfect for a celebration of three generations and a range of birthdays (21 to 80), a first job and a grad school acceptance.
The bedrooms were large spacious and comfortable. Having multiple common areas was an advantage, so that the various age ranges could hang out.
The kitchen was perfect and was appropriately stocked with all items.
We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Carmel from the house. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The management team communicated with us throughout our trip and they even stocked wonderful treats... smores, coffee/tea, microwave popcorn, hot chocolate, local chocolate treats, and more! I would definitely stay here again.
A beautiful and comfortable home with convenient access to both golf courses, quaint Carmel by the Sea, and shopping in the Carmel Valley. The quiet neighborhood was a perfect place to return after golf, providing ample room for our foursome. The well-appointed home provided everything we needed. All agreed that we would happily stay here again!
The property was amazing. We were very pleased from beginning to end. The Hosts contacted us before our stay to ensure everything was lined up. They contacted us the day before our arrival to again confirm everything. Accessing the keys (check in if you will) was very smooth. When we got to the property, everything was in place, clean and ready for our stay. The home was beautiful and worked perfectly for our family and extended family who came to the home during the wedding festivities. We needed a help with the fire pit and Marco was available to provide guidance and make sure our needs were met. Departure from the home was easy. All in all I can say that for our first B&B experience, we were very happy. Kudos to Carmel Coast Estates - the helped make our Wedding and vacation experience a memory for a lifetime!
We had a wonderful stay at Oak Place Too. The small selection of kids toys and books were a treat for our 4 kids (ages 6-1yrs) and Marco was very responsive if I had questions. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed out time there. A bottle of wine, box of chocolates were given to us as a gift upon arrival along with a pan to roast a turkey. Very thought fun
We were having so much fun we didn't have time to open the wine and we went out to eat so we didn't need the roasting pan. We read the inside fireplace instructions but didn't find the equipment available to us. Which was slightly disappointing because a fire would have been nice. But overall we loved our time there and out time together
