The night shift staff wasn't too great. Check out is 10am and they were giving us a difficult time about extending an extra hour. Said manager would call us back but never did. There were some flies in the room, they came to spray with natural spray, but still wasn't as accommodating Disappointed. The room itself was beautiful and the view was so nice.

Such a wonderful location for an oceanside getaway, perfect service and staff provided exactly what we needed for a 3 night stay. Definitely recommend for getting the full experience of what Carmel has to offer!

The view was the best thing about it all. A beautiful sunset and the reflection of the sun during the day makes everything worth it. The amenities were ok, a lot of them are outdated. The room was nice and kept clean and well maintained.

Called in to confirm the room we booked is a two queen size beds prior to arrival. When we got there, the room was not available and we got a king size bed with a sofa bed instead. Didn’t let us know we needed to get a parking permit. Staffs seemed clueless and have no resolution on resolve the issue of getting us the wrong room.

Booked on Expedia and paid ahead of time. Had a significant extra charge on our bill that I called about at least 6 times. Always got put on hold, hung up on, or sent to voicemail and never called back and the charge was never corrected. While the property was nice and very memorable for us (we got engaged there 20 years ago), I would never stay there again because of such bad customer service.
