Quiet setting with a great fenced in garden area for the dogs and relaxing. Beds were very comfortable! Appointed in “casual worried wood cottage” feel. Just a 10 minute drive to Carmel.

Kitchen was excellent! House was excellent. Owner forgot to leave extra TP but made up for it with a wonderful bottle of Bernardus wine! The home should have instructions on how to turn on patio string lights and work with outdoor FP. Otherwise, pretty perfect!!!

The little cottage was the perfect size for my husband and me and our two little pups. The cottage was clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was large and had a roomy shower stall. The kitchen was well supplied with coffee machine, microwave, and cooking equipment. The garden was lovely and tranquil. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Stay here at your own risk. We arrived to find the home in a completely unacceptable and unsanitary condition, forcing us to cancel our vacation and drive hundreds of miles back home the same day.Upon entry, there was a strong, foul odor — possibly from spoiled food or something worse. But the real shock came when we discovered the home was infested with large flies — easily 100 or more throughout the house, covering windows, walls, and even the bed. It was truly disgusting and impossible to stay in.To make matters worse, the check-in instructions noted that the house key (the only way to lock the unit) would be left on the counter. There was no key anywhere to be found. That meant if we left to seek help or fresh air, we'd be leaving all of our belongings in an unlocked house.We contacted the host immediately through the app. VRBO support also attempted to reach her directly. After five hours of back-and-forth with VRBO agents and supervisors — and still zero response from the host — the reservation was finally canceled and refunded.To this day, we have not received a single response or acknowledgment from the host. No apology. No explanation. Nothing.Bottom line: this property presented serious health and safety concerns, and the host was completely unresponsive throughout the entire ordeal. What should have been a relaxing weekend turned into a nightmare. Avoid this listing.

Everything was perfect!

I recently stayed here with a few friends for my bachelorette weekend and it was wonderful! We felt so welcomed and taken care of. When we arrived we were given aquarium passes and a bottle of Rose! Communication was easy and the owners were so helpful! I can't wait to come again!

Enjoyed the electric fire and coffee bar along with comfortable beds and a beautiful updated tile shower! Wish the weather had been better to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces! Just a very short drive from all the tourist areas

Amazing location!

Loved the proximity to Garland Ranch Regional Park - beautiful walks and hikes! Also enjoyed all the wine tasting rooms in Carmel Valley Village! Close to Carmel by the Sea and Carmel Beach. Comfortable beds too! :) Highly recommend!

Great spot, cozy and clean

We had a great time, conveniently located, beautiful property, clean! Angee, the property mgr was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive. Only recommendation is keep your party to a maximum of 4 for the cottage. It’s listed as sleeping 5, but there’s only a queen and a king bed
 no pull out sofa bed for a 5th. Not sure why it’s listed to sleep 5? We ended up renting an additional room inside the main house —which worked out just fine.

Beautiful Cottage

This little cottage was so amazing. It was super comfortable and the owners communicated so well. Even though it was a shared house, with the cottage attached, there was privacy. There was a firepit and tables to sit outside, which we did and enjoined as we sat to eat outside. The location is perfect, only about a 20 min drive to the beach. 10 out 10 would definitely recommend! I would definitely stay here again!

Getaway with pals to celebrate turning 40

My husband booked this place for me over another one directly in Carmel (with my three friends to celebrate me turning forty), and I’m so glad he did! We were absolutely delighted - the esthetic was so effortless but cool and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. We found ourselves looking forward to coming back after a long day of exploring in Carmel to sit around the outside fire in our comfy clothes chatting it up over wine. It’s super cozy and the beds are extremely comfortable - loved the linens. I have the sweetest memories of that place with my three besties. Angee the host was quick to respond to all my queries and even gave me an extensive list of awesome suggestions. The drive into Carmel is beautiful and we didn’t mind the 10/15 min drive at all. I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a place in the Carmel area.

Charming Carmel Cabin

The house is lovely. It has everything you’ll need. The beds are soooo comfortable. The garden is very pretty. We ate al fresco every morning. Our dogs loved the backyard, too. Close to everything in Carmel and Monterey. The owners were very responsive. We will definitely be back!!

Hidden Gem

We were hesitant to book this place because it’s a new listing with no reviews. However, we are so happy we took a chance and stayed at this hidden gem! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway - clean, nicely decorated, and with just the right personal touches by the host to make us feel welcome. If you are looking to stay in the Carmel area, this is the place to book!
