Cette spacieuse maison de 3 niveaux est situĂ© dans l'un des meilleurs et les plus sĂ»rs quartiers de la ville Ă  l'intĂ©rieur des murs de la ville. Un bloc de la plus ancienne Ă©glise de la ville coloniale qui est Iglesia Santo Domingo. La plupart des attractions historiques sont accessibles Ă  pied. Il a une superficie de 700 privĂ©e terrasse privĂ©e au dernier Ă©tage avec vue panoramique sur l'ocĂ©an. Il dispose de 3 chambres Ă  coucher. La chambre principale a un lit King size, deuxiĂšme chambre a 2 lits simples et la 3Ăšme restante, dispose de 2 lits doubles. Chaque chambre dispose d'air conditionnĂ©. En outre, il y a 2 salles de bain complĂštes. La Maison entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, y compris machine Ă  laver, la cuisine est totalement Ă©quipĂ©e. Sandra's home was the perfect location for our trip to Cartagena for my birthday celebration. It was very easy to walk to any destination in El Centro or Getsemani. Being right by the wall and with an ocean view was great for sunsets on the rooftop. The building had 24-hour security, making us feel safe and always welcome as the guards were very friendly and informative. The common areas, kitchen, and dining room do not have air conditioning; however, many fans are available to enjoy the space. Having a fully equipped kitchen was great for making breakfast and snacks whenever we wanted to stay in. There was also a washer/dryer combo in the kitchen, which was great to refresh swimsuits and towels after tours. The bedrooms were in great condition with individual AC units, so we could all adjust to our liking. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely getting a great night’s sleep after all the late nights enjoying everything the city has to offer. Milena would come and reset the space every couple of days, and she was amazing. My friends and I hope to return to Sandra's home as it is the perfect base for an amazing trip to Cartagena.

Fue muy rica la estadía en este lugar. Desde el inicio la comunicación fue råpida y clara. Para mejorar es importante que el congelador funciones porque se dañaron las carnes que metimos a congelar. También se puede mejorar la limpieza del piso y el estado de las toallas de los baños. De resto fue una grata estadía.

The house was beautiful and located perfectly within the walled city. Easy walk to all the attractions and restaurants. The rooftop was amazing to hang out on after being out and about for the day. It is hot and humid in Cartagena and was nice to have AC in the bedrooms which all worked great! We will stay here again the next time in Cartagena.

The property is perfectly located within the walled city, across the street from an active park/market, easy access to the rest of the walled city by foot. The kitchen, living room and dining area occupy the first floor with patio and window overlooking the park across the street. The second floor has the bedrooms, bathrooms, and a loft area with tv. The bedrooms were air conditioned and had ample storage space and a safe. The gem of the property is the rooftop garden/patio with expansive ocean views, ocean breezes and constant aviary visitors. This was a very popular space at all time of the day or night.

We had a wonderful time at Sandras place. Great, safe and quiet neighborhood. Close to everything: City walls, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, famous tourist spots. We loved terrace. Beautiful view on the sea, great place for the evenings. House was extremely clean, very comfortable beds. There was everything we needed for our stay. Sandra is a great host. Very communicative. She was responding very fast. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Cartagena.

Scenic, safe, walkable

Amazing location and roof top deck for sunrise and sunsets on the old wall. Walking distance to Puerta 3 in the marina, where all the boat trips leave. Well decorated with clean well maintained essentials and good water pressure. The AC in the rooms and fans were life savers. The spiral stair case was a cool feature but not for those with health limits. Sandra, the host was very responsive and professional. Milena, the caretaker, was there to greet us and show us around and check us out. Be ready for heat, humidity and beautiful islands, water and colonial tours. It feels like mardi gras every night in old town. So many good cafecitos, restraunts, bars, dance clubs, shops and street performers.

Amazing location

The townhouse has a fantastic location in a relatively quiet area by the city walls. The view of the ocean from the beautiful rooftop is magical as are the gardens within the complex. The townhouse is bright and airy with air conditioning in the bedrooms. In general well appointed although a little tired, particularly the kitchen that could use a renovation in appliances and utensils. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and walked everywhere within the Centro HIstĂłrico. Note: You have to bring your luggage up one flight of stairs to reach the apartment and one within the apartment. A fee is charged to leave luggage in the morning before checkin.

Best location possible

The place is great! The location cannot be beat. It was the perfect location. Great restaurants and all the old city a few steps away, without any of the noise. Taxis are easy to get. ThereÂŽs a small supermarket around the block. The townhouse is nicely decorated. There is security at the entrance. The AC is a must in the bedrooms and it worked perfectly and quietly. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything was great. The only thing to be aware of is that the stairs inside the unit are not for anyone. For anyone with any mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Everything was clean. The communication with the property owner and the cleaning lady was extremely fast and friendly. Other than that, the place is absolutely wonderful. I most definitely plan to stay there if I get the chance to go back to Cartagena.

Location, location, location

We just spent several days on Sandra’s property and left vowing to return. Sandra is a wonderful host and very responsive. Have suggestions for restaurants and shops. In December there are several festivals and parades. We watched it all from the balcony. Fireworks went off each night; we experienced those from the terrace on the roof
such a serene spot in the mornings and evenings. Milena was an absolute pleasure to have and work with. She showed us around the town to where the Ara Market was to get our water and other snacks, pharmacy for the sunblock or bug spray and where the atm is located. She came everyday during our stay and took care of the property. We paid a little extra for her to teach us to cook some of the staples of Colombian cuisine. She was very respectful, humble and super sweet. We miss her already😉 Gracias Sandra y Milena 💕

Cartagena family visit

Our family of 4 had plenty of space to recover the Cartagena heat. Each bedroom is nicely air conditioned and when the nights cool down, the balcony and rooftop space are nice to observe the busy city. The location is fantastic. It’s easy to walk to anywhere, even a 30 minute walk to the beach. The property manager was so responsive and answering any question I had, even on recommendations to eat. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Great location and gated property

The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere in the old city. It is directly across from the old city wall and a outdoor lounge by the ocean. It has 3 levels and these townhouses are built above stores. So the living room and bedroom are on the second level, bedrooms on the third, and the terrace on the fourth. The terrace was the best part. I spent every morning and evening on the terrace. It was too hot and sunny for me to use during the day but was out exploring anyway. The views from the terrace are amazing and include the ocean. The birds were amazing to see from the terrace and a parrot landed close by and watched me for about 15 mins. Even with the lounge and stores it was quiet at night as the air conditioners in the bedroom are not loud but drown out the noice, it also helps that it is above street level. I can’t speak about the kitchen as I never cooked here., I also never turned on the TV. So many amazing restaurants within walking distance but their is a store close by to purchase food and water bottles. Townhouse had enough towels and toilet paper. Maid was very nice, doesn’t speak English but uses Google translate on her phone for you. Doormen are always at the gate to let you in. They are friendly and will get you a taxi if you want it. I only took Ubers to/from the airport. We walked everywhere from this location including the fort, everywhere in old town, and to the boats for a island tour.

A little slice of Heaven!!

This was our first trip to Colombia and it won’t be our last. Sandra was beyond wonderful as well as Milena and the security at the property. The property is gorgeous! The terrace overlooks the ocean and has gorgeous sunsets. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It was always cool with the a/c units also. We loved the location too. We were steps from the liquor store right outside the gate and a few more steps to the mini market and the square which has a beautiful cafe as well as restaurants. Thank you so much Sandra. We truly did not want to leave. We will come back hopefully soon.

Beautiful location and a view of the sea

Once we got past the language barrier at checkin, we found the unit to be spacious and the rooftop patio comfortable. Several areas were dated - e.g. the kitchen and the ensuite bath of the master bedroom. The rooftop patio was a bit more dated than the pictures, but it was definitely our favourite spot for morning coffee watching different birds including parrots. All in all, a restful spot that we felt sad to leave after our short stay.

Pretty quant place and location. 10 minutes from airport and ocean front views from the terrace

I rented this place for my trip to Cartagena! It’s right in the walls and close to all the shopping and water. A 20min walk to old town where there locals hang out. There are 3 floors, and we slept 6 comfortably. There’s no bathrooms or bedrooms on the main floor so be prepared to walk up tight spirally stairs. Overall it’s a perfect place to stay with your family or friends.

Perfect location for experiencing within the old city. Beautiful place, terrazza has excellent views. Communication and check in were great. We were not expecting to have to pay for parking at the complex, but we and our property were safe, and everything convenient.

Pretty Great!

This property is in the best location. It’s right across from Cafe Del Mar. A well known bar right on the wall overlooking the water. Cabs are easy, walking is easy. The property is lovely. The bedrooms are air conditioned. The rest of the house is not. There is a breeze on the firs floor and fans everywhere, but it can be hot. If stairs concern you this is the biggest challenge. A circular staircase, that is beautiful looking is essential to get to the bathrooms and bedrooms. If stairs are any problem there are lots of stairs in this house. There is a beautiful third floor roof top that’s great in the evenings. Sandra the property owner is one of the most responsive people you will ever meet. She gives great advice and fixes problems quickly. We were there for almost three weeks. It was perfect for our needs. Sandra also has a wonderful maid who is there each day to clean up —to do laundry etc. Milena is fabulous—only speaks spanish however, but google translate helps. Good TV and really good WiFi for Cartagena in an old historic building which this is. You’ll enjoy yourself.

Great location in the walled city!

My family loved staying here and the location is super convenient to explore the walled city. The townhouse is large and spacious and the rooftop terrace is a great place to relax at the end of the day. We also enjoyed walking directly across the street at night to walk the wall at sunset. There are three floors (we traveled here with 4 people and would have been comfortable with 2 more) We felt like the rooms were larger than appeared in the photos :) The air conditioners work great and drown out the street noise at night and the fans provided good air flow during the day. The kitchen has everything you might need and the beds are very comfortable. Milena (house staff) was super accommodating and helpful. We asked her to cook for us one morning and it was excellent. She made sure we had plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, clean floors etc. Also, the security is great here. They have cameras surrounding the property and guards at the entrance that are also very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants a convenient and comfortable location to explore the walled city.
