The hotel is on the beach, centrally located, with suites that have balconies. It's 15-20 min from the airport and walled city. Rooms boast stunning views of the beach, bay, and walled city. The hotel is beautiful with a large lobby, high ceilings, with exotic fresh flowers and calming fragrance. Someone is always cleaning and present to open the door with a greeting. Rooms are also kept clean with plenty of towels and bathroom amenities. We were checked in by Yercelis and Dina who were pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. There was a slight mix-up and manager Jherald came to assist and really met our needs in a compromising way. Jorge was also helpful in similar fashion. A highlight was the daily breakfast and snacks. Offered in the Regency Room, these meals were everything, with fresh fruit and bread, curated meats, juices, and sandwiches. Beer and wine were available for lunch. Our group enjoyed these immensely and Tedys, Fernanda, and the entire kitchen crew did an admirable job. The infinity pool was heated, and the gym had many amenities not included in most gyms, including a leg press. A couple of minor critiques, the second infinity pool was unavailable, and the gym also began construction, although it remained open. A bit confusing at the was the elevator transitions and trouble with inoperable room keys. All in all, a stellar trip highlighted by a most delightful stay. I loved the location, the mall next door was a plus, transportation was right there, the beach was very close and shopping in the area as well Hotel was very clean and immaculate, service was amazing from every level. We spent some time at the bar on the 14th and had the best service, the bartender Sara and her coworkers made us feel very welcomed. Sara was very friendly and made the best cocktails, we enjoyed going to the pool bar, Sara is quite a gem and you should be lucky to have her.

Lo mantienen remodelado, lindo, limpio. La piscina grande estaba en remodelacion y solo cuenta con dos piscinas pequeñas, el espacio en la zona de estas piscinas es muy reducido y no hay parasoles para protegerse del sol que es bastante fuerte en esta zona, gran parte del día.

I loved everything in Cartagena. The Hyatt Regency is an excellent hotel, from the service in the lobby, the pool, the restaurant, to the room service. I want to thank the entire staff, especially Oscar and Antonio in the restaurant, as well as Dina and Daniel in the lobby, and some other girls there whose names I don't remember, but they are all special and extremely attentive.
