Most things were nice.

We stayed recently and the room was nice, clean and huge. We had so much room. We truly enjoyed our stay. The hostess were nice, and friendly. The only issue I had was going to Oak & Fork and standing there waiting for Ms. older Hostess lady to finish up her conversation with the guests leaving out, talking about much of nothing, and not even asking us if we would like to be seated. We didn't feel good about that. She was friendly and all, but we felt some kind of way standing there almost 5 mins while she finished up her conversation. I didn't like that. Can't say it was a racial thing, but it Sure felt like it.

Our Anniversary stay

Enjoyed our stay at this resort. Our hotel room was very roomy, clean and attractive. The restraunts are very good though somewhat expensive. The service was very good. We only have 2 complaints. Frist, there was no materials in the room about the services, restraunts, etc. Second,our biggest complaint, was the smoke smell you have to breath in while going to restraunts, check-in lobby etc.

Lovely room but not perfect

The layout was a little odd, and the light from the bathroom through the opaque window into the bedroom was bright and made it difficult to sleep. The main door opened so that if you were in the shower or using the restroom with that door open there was a clear view out to the hallway. And the walls were pretty thin - the rooms on either side of us were loud and we could hear everything. Otherwise the room was beautiful, it was very clean, and all employees we encountered were very nice.

To many I did not like. Chop, block and brew, the restaurant was freezing. Ordered filet mignon, got mashed potatoes. No veggies, no bread. Not worth the price. Bed and pillows were terrible. If air was running, made pipe noises at night and had to turn off. The smoking section is a joke, it smells like cigarettes in the whole gaming area! Haven't been to a casino in 20 years, so maybe I expected more. Don't believe I will return.

Unfortunately, every staff member that we dealt with in the two nights we stayed, were incredibly rude. Acted as though you being there was an inconvenience for them. The grounds and pool were beautiful, however the pool closed at 8 - and the pool staff made it very clear they wanted you out of the area starting around 6 when the pool bar shut down.

I was surprised that the hotel had stopped their valet service,really could have used that service due to wife's recent knee replacement surgery. NEED more choices to eat in the hotel,had to leave to eat.Did eat at the steak house food was excellent.

All food was horrible, they would not let me check in an hour early unless they charged me another 35 bucks… It was kind of ridiculous as there wasn’t 40 cars in the parking lot. It was an overpriced and I felt unappreciated for spending 300 bucks for one night. It was definitely an hour south of Phoenix. There was nothing else around the property unless you wanted to travel.
