Located in the Haut Languedoc Regional Park, in the foothills of the Massif de l'Espinouse, the charming gite "Terrestrial Attractions" (4 Stars of France), located in "Hameau du Fau" (Municipality of Castanet le Haut) is positioned on the plateau of La Croix de Mounis / Albès at an altitude of 820 m.
It benefits from a vast panorama and a rich, varied and preserved environment since it adjoins the "National Reserve of Fauna and Wild Flora of Caroux-Espinouse". Mouflons and roe deer were introduced there in the 1960s and the flora is abundant and varied.
The relief, very diverse, alternates between fir and beech forests, heather moors, meadows, rocks, caves ...
